For a long time Askelan was drowning in daydreams, thinking of the end of herself in the wooden house that night. He did not know what happened next, as his body was put in a body bag by officers.

He briefly fainted, and was awakened by Mo, in the hospital mortuary. The nanny just made sure and if Askelan was really gone, then she would be sadder than her mother's grief.
