Chapter 88 - Last Hope
...[.Notification to all participants! Please gather in the main lobby for a briefing on interplanetary rocket launches!]...
The voice message was heard clearly all over the place. Including the room where Chloe and Axel rest.
Hearing her, Axel immediately turned his head towards Chloe. His face asked his sister's opinion.
"Come brother." said briefly his sister.
"Alright." replied Axel as he stood up from his chair. Both were prepared to attend the briefing.
The rocket launch mission is still 6 days away. There is still plenty of time left to enjoy life in this broken world. Before finally giving up their fate entirely to the iron ship that was about to pierce through the sky.
Upon arrival at the main lobby, thousands of people had gathered. In front of them was a man in a grey Liberator uniform with a star on his left shoulder.
"Good morning, everybody. Without further ado, we will begin our briefing on this mission."
'Mission?'
The word became a question mark in the heads of many people. They thought that by riding the rocket, they would gain true freedom. Congratulations on the destruction of this world.
"The technology possessed by humanity is still too low" the man continued firmly.
