Chapter 30 - Day H

September 14th, 2025.

Today is the day the Liberators of the North American Branch look forward to.

A total of 10 Liberators are on standby around Los Angeles International Airport. Or at least, what's left of that airport.

Hundreds of soldiers in black uniforms have been on standby throughout the ruins of the airport.

The process of clearing the field has been taking off since a week ago. Meanwhile, the soldiers in black uniforms complete with their machine guns, started to stand by.

Guarding this territory from the invasion of monsters that might come to invade.

This is a very dangerous mission for the North American Branch. It was the biggest operation they had ever done.

A total of 4 large aircraft carrying 20 Liberators and 400 regular soldiers will arrive in this area of California.

Their goal is only one. That is to help Liberators who are in the North American branch to recover immediately.

Through the reconquest of the land that has been captured by the monsters and also the rescue of the surviving citizens around this North American region.

Meanwhile, 7 Liberators were on standby around the airport's takeoff field. They are Liberators with close range capabilities. Who will face the monsters head on.

While the other 3 Liberators were on standby at the top of one of the buildings that had not completely collapsed.

Together with them, were 20 soldiers in black uniforms who were snipers or snipers. Assigned to support the troops on the front lines from a distance.

And its power, at least about 3x that of a first-generation weapon.

Even so, the Oracle warned Axel one thing when it came to using the weapon.

"*You need to know, the weapon is still a prototype. It may be a big burden to your body.

As long as you use it, we will always monitor the data obtained from the weapon to develop a more stable second generation*." Clearly the Oracle through the earphones were attached to Axel's left ear.

"Yes, I understand." Reply Axel briefly.

"Axhelen. Don't die." Speak to Oracle before temporarily closing the communication channel.

A faint smile appeared on Axel's face.

"Listen clearly, Axel. Emma, you hear me?" Sophia replied in that communication channel.

"Very clear." Reply Emma who immediately went down to the floor below. Emma's big gun was a little envy Axel when he saw it.

Axel kept his eyes on Emma's rifle as she walked away from the top of the building.

"Well.... Why don't I get a shotgun like that and a bow instead?" Axel complained to himself.

However, Axel forgot one thing.

"I'm sorry, but your abilities don't seem to be suitable for using this rifle, Axel." Emma replied through that communication channel.

That's right, Axel forgot to turn off the voice input from himself. Making his complaint just heard by this remote support team.

The Oracle, and 4 other Liberators and about 20 military soldiers in black uniforms appeared to be busy in this large meeting room.

Everything is facing the computer screen. Monitor the situation and also provide information support to Liberators on the front lines.

The Oracle itself is currently standing facing a very large projector screen. The map of Los Angeles International Airport is in simple form.

That is only in small boxes that indicate the shape of the building, as well as the green triangle symbol that indicates the position of the Liberator.

The rest are small white dots that indicate the presence of regular soldiers in black uniforms.

This mapping ability is realized by installing 6 transmitter machines around the airport. Showing the various movements around the machine.

The red circle symbol was none other than the symbol that signified the existence of monsters, which were detected with their main characteristic which was a slightly different Flux energy in their bodies.

The greater the Flux energy the monsters possessed, the larger the size of the red circle became. Which indicates that they are powerful monsters.

"Sensor number 3 is safe!"

"Sensor number 4 is safe!"

"Sensors number 1, 2 and 6 are safe!"

"Sensor number 5 is safe!"

The shouts from the uniformed soldiers filled this usually quite quiet meeting room.

At the end of this room, the Oracle who continued to stand watching everything that happened through the simple map, finally spoke.

"Base to Liberators in the field. All sensors are safe. Each operator in the base will help you in monitoring the presence of the enemy. So don't be afraid.

Right now, your job is only one. That ensures that all four aircraft and all passengers from the East Asian branch can arrive safely. Understood?!" Speak the Oracle firmly.

Quickly, all the Liberators in the field retaliated.

"Understand!"

And with that, the mission called the D-Day or H-Day operation began.
