Chapter 64 - Prisoner

'ANGEL!'

The sound of the locked steel door sounded so loud. Locking Axel inside this small room alone.

Dark and quiet, without a bed or toilet. Axel could only stay there.

"I'll get you out after 3 days." Said the Oracle from outside this prison of isolation.

No reply from Axel. He remained silent in the midst of this silence. I don't know why....

Axel felt that this was the last moment for him to be able to live quietly.

The next day....

"Uugh...."

Slowly, the little girl's eyes began to open. The bright lights started to blind her eyes again.

After a while, the girl began to wake up. He rose from his sleep. But the room was a little strange.

It contains only one medical bed and several health monitors and also shelves of various medical equipment.

Only the floor and walls were made of steel. There were no windows in the room. There was only a steel door 25cm thick. At the top of the door, there was a small area that seemed to be open.

"You awake?"

That voice sounded within this room. After turning her gaze for a while, the girl also found two speakers and 3 cameras in the upper corner of this room.

"Where am I? Who're you?" Ask the girl confused. However, something made him even more confused.

That is the fact that his left arm has grown back as usual. It was as if his arm had never been severed.

"Just calm. You're safe inside this fort. And we are liberators, whose duty is to preserve the salvation of mankind." Obviously the female voice from that speaker.

The girl kept looking at her left arm. He turned it around several times and bit it slowly to make sure that he was not dreaming.

"Liberator?"

"Enough of us. I'm sure you have a lot of questions about yourself, right? Like your left arm growing back." Reply to the woman.

If they have evil intentions, why didn't they kill him immediately when he was unconscious? That's what's on the girl's mind.

After calming down, the girl replied.

"Lucy huh? Good. Now tell me, where were you born? Who are your parents?" Ask the woman.

Suddenly, Lucy's eyes opened wide. He felt a tremendous pain in his head. Quickly, both of his hands began to react by covering his head.

Meanwhile, his red eyes started to light up. Lucy knows what will happen after this. That is, he will turn into a monster that causes him to be hunted by others.

The Oracle just hugged the girl. Without caring about his physical condition that resembled that half monster.

"The pain is just like that. And even if it can't cure you completely, I'm pretty sure I can withstand the symptoms of your sudden body changes. How's it?" Ask the Oracle again.

Lucy seems a little hesitant at the offer from Oracle.

"I want to see the brother who saved me yesterday. I want to ask for his opinion." Continue Lucy.

"Aah, so is that it? Alright. I'll ask him to come here soon. You can rest first. And also, I will prepare food for you. Agreed?" Ask the Oracle kindly.

"Agreed...."

Immediately after reversing his body, the friendly expression of that Oracle immediately disappeared. Replaced with his usual flat facial expression.
