Chapter 46 - Discovery

"Hmm? Isn't that too soon?" Akane said after seeing the contents of the message on Axel's phone.

"You're right. But they are both experts in medicine and Flux. I don't doubt them." Reply Axel responded to Akane's words.

Immediately, Axel put his phone back in his pants pocket.

While staring back at the figure of Eva still being treated in the tube, Axel said goodbye.

"I'm waiting for you to heal." Axel.

"Mmhhh!"

And with that, Axel left this treatment room to return to the B19 floor.

......***......

A few hours have passed.

All Liberators including those from East Asia have gathered on this B19 floor. The goal is only one, which is to explain their new mission plan.

"Leona and Frans have just discovered a compound that the monsters are interested in. All this was thanks to the help of Axel and Akane who found samples from a power plant in San Francisco.

And with this new technology, humanity has vast opportunities. Leona, French. Please explain the details." Speak Oracle at length.

Unexpectedly, Leona and Frans carry two Goblins tied by chains.

It surprised some of the regular soldiers who were inside this room. But not for Liberators because Goblins are just low-level monsters.

While Frans was still holding the two chains, Leona stood before a table carrying a glass bottle of dark blue liquid.

'A water similar to the one I saw there.' Axel thought recalling what he found in the power plant complex.

"Hm.... So no need to linger, I'll show you the effect of this liquid." Said Leona with her lazy face while fixing her glasses with her left hand.

The two Goblin tails seemed to be thrashing trying to break away from the chain bond. But unfortunately there is no power for them.

The chains were so thick and suffocated their necks directly. The more they move, the greater the pain they will feel.

After looking at each other, Leona and Frans nodded.

And soon after that....

'Pyaaarr!'

Leona threw the glass bottle on the floor. The broken glass bottle spilled the dark blue liquid in all directions.

Shortly thereafter, Frans released the chains on the Goblin's body. Let him run free.

A few regular soldiers who saw that immediately ran away. While some Liberators who were in front immediately raised their weapons. Be prepared if something unwanted happens.

But far beyond everyone's expectations....

The two Goblin tails dashed straight towards the deep blue liquid spilling on the ground. Try your hardest to reach out and drink with both of their small hands.

The two remained focused on fighting over the dark blue liquid.

Axel who saw it began to understand why the monsters in the power plant before had completely ignored its existence.

'Aren't they more aggressive?' Axel thought in his heart.

In the power plant complex, the monsters seemed to be in a drunken state. They walked slowly and quietly but did not care about anything around them.

The two Goblins were still hitting each other. Claw each other, bite each other, and hurt each other.

All of that was just to fight over the dark blue liquid that was on the floor.

Some comments from Liberators and soldiers began to sound so crowded in this room.

Staying with her tired face, Leona retorted.

"In other words, humans no longer need to hide underground." Add the Oracle standing to the side.

From behind her desk, Akane who was sitting casually was still smiling.

'Of course it's simple. It's just pure flux and oxygen. The longer you are exposed to oxygen, the stronger the effect.' Thought Akane.

But nevertheless....

Frans's follow-up explanation surprised him.

"Only pure flux and salt." Frans is short.

'Eh?!'

Reflexively, Akane showed her surprised face to everyone in front of her.

And that, of course, is known by the Oracle who had noticed the whole movement of the Liberators and Soldiers from East Asia.

Very simply put that technology, almost all military people know it. And in case of emergency though, they used to utilize their Flux Booster to distract the monsters that were chasing them.

Frans continued to explain the details. But for Liberators who are only good at fighting, that detail is completely unnecessary.

All they need is one.

That is knowing that this new technology can bring new victories and hopes to mankind.
