Chapter 45 - Results of Analysis

"Thank you for the hard work you both have done. I'm sure this technology will be of great help to mankind." Said the Oracle after receiving some glass bottles from Akane.

Soon, Oracle handed it over to Leona and Frans for analysis. Figuring out the true composition of the liquid that could make those monsters go crazy.

"Not a big deal." Reply Akane who immediately sat on one of the iron chairs.

Meanwhile, Axel gave a slightly different report.

"Oracle, can I have a four-eye talk with you?" Ask Axel.

That sentence of course attracted a little attention from Akane who was sitting relaxed. On the one hand, Akane could not miss the information regarding her target.

But on the other hand, if Akane insisted on taking part in their talks....

The Oracle on the other hand immediately walked away and returned to her desk. Preparing for the next operation for Liberators.

"Why? Isn't it because we're partners?" Reply Akane who now put on a face.

"I'm sorry, but my partner is Eva. And now I plan to see him."

Axel immediately walked away leaving Akane alone.

"Wait on! I'll come along!" Shouted Akane who was trying to pursue Axel's footsteps.

Recovery Room.

Ever since Leona and Frans got jobs directly from the Oracle just now, this recovery room has had no attendants at all.

Only a few tubes remain active with the Liberator still being treated.

Of all the tubes, Axel only walked toward one tube. Inside was a silver-haired woman, Eva.

"You're better?" Axel asked Eva.

"Mmhhh!" Reply Eva briefly while nodding her head.

He stretched out his right hand to touch the glass from the tube. Where Axel retaliated by putting his palm in the same place as Eva.

"Mmh?" Eva said as she looked towards the red-haired woman beside Axel.

"Ooh, him? Liberator from East Asia, Akane. He's been my partner for a while." Reply Axel seemed to understand what Eva was asking.

"Greetings, I'm Akane." Akane smiled sweetly at Eva. He even slightly lowered his head.

"Mmh?" Ask Eva again.

"Yes. The previous mission was fine. After all, Akane was quite strong, even much stronger than me. So it's not a problem." Reply Axel.

Akane who saw Axel reply to Eva's question seemed confused.

"You.... How do you understand what he's asking?" Ask Akane curiously.

"Hmm? What do you mean by that?" Reply Axel is confused.

"Sorry, but I don't know what you're saying at all." Akane replies to Eva's obscure words.

"She said, you'll understand after you've been in that tube a few times." Axel.

'So the fox didn't realize it? What were the two of them talking about before? About the Russian troops?' Akane thought in her heart as she stared at Axel's phone.

In the phone it reads a short message with the title [Finding Results].
