Chapter 34 - The Third Party

'Swuushh! Swuush!!'

Axel continued to fire his arrows at the Dread Riders around the plane.

At that moment he heard bad news from the Oracle.

"Axel! I'm just saying this to you. But there seems to be a third party on this mission."

Obviously Oracle.

"Third party?" Axel asked as he continued to pull his bow firmly.

"Russia. They're hacking into the main base. And most likely, the reason why the monsters could figure out our plans in this place was them." Firm Oracle.

Axel immediately narrowed his eyes after hearing the statement.

How not?

That's because there are at least two strange things in the statement from Oracle.

First. Russia is one of the superpowers that collapsed relatively early since the attack of the monsters into this world.

"Even if I have to abandon my current mission?" Ask Axel again.

After all, East Asia sent their fire queen, an S-level Liberator just like you. They'll be fine*." Reply Oracle through that communication network.

Axel who was currently pulling his bow back, started to loosen it. Returns the arrow he held back into the bag and closes and transports it on his back.

"understandable. I'll tell you again soon." Reply Axel who immediately prepared to jump from the tall building.

"I'm counting on you, Axel." Reply to Oracle before turning off the communication channel.

Now, Axel freefall from the building that is almost 300 meters high. Even so, his face looked so calm.

He ran and broke down the entrance directly. Now, what was before him, was the figure of a man with short blonde hair.

The man was standing in front of a strange machine, which looked like a cupboard that had many twinkling lights and wires around it.

"Eh?!" Shouted The man was surprised.

Axel, now start walking slowly. His right hand held his spear tightly. He also started biting his own lips because of such an upset feeling.

'So there really is? And that tool.... What is calling the monsters?' Axel asked in his heart.

Even if Axel wanted to slash at the man as quickly as possible, he still tried to think calmly. And quickly, Axel contacted the headquarters through his earphones.

"Axel here. I've found him, he is seen standing in front of a strange machine that seems to be still active." Axel.

The Oracle, who received the news from Axel immediately hit the table before him hard. He was very upset that, in fact, there were human beings who betrayed other human beings.

But the Oracle can't act on emotion.

He quickly gave Axel new orders.

"Capture and interrogate him. Maybe she...."

"Wait a minute, there's something strange about that machine...." Axel responded in panic.

An explosive sound was heard from that communication channel. The Oracle and the other workers at the headquarters immediately panicked.

"Axel?! You hear me?! What's going on?!" Shouted the Oracle confusion.

No reply from Axel. There was only the sound of the ruins of the building where He stood.

"Report! Emma from the support team saw a huge explosion from one of the airport control center buildings in the distance!" Said one of the operators at the headquarters.

Before the Oracle could ask him further, the reply from Axel had arrived.

"Kugghs! Goddamnit! It looks like he blew himself up. For some reason, suddenly the machine exploded when I found it." Axel said through the communications network.

"Thank God, you survived. Can you report the conditions around?" Ask the Oracle who started breathing a sigh of relief.

"There's a lot of smoke here." Reply Axel.

However, before Axel could see anything around him clearly, one of the operators immediately reported a big thing.

"Report! The monsters.... Start to run away! They're pulling out of this airport!"

The report, of course, confirms one thing.

That is a fact, that the machine is really a tool to call the monsters closer.

"So so.... After finding out he was cornered, he blew himself up so as not to be interrogated using the machine, huh?" Said the Oracle again watching the map on the large projector screen.

Where many red circles of monsters, began to stay away from the airport.

Leaving the Liberators and soldiers standing guard there was as if nothing had happened before.
