Chapter 53 - The Gate

"What is true?! Frans! Where did you find him?!" Shouted the Oracle who now seemed to forget all his work just now.

"Orion satellite imagery. As you can see, it's a picture taken at one of the Dimensional Gates of mankind in New York." Frans is short.

'Braa!'

Instantly, the Oracle fell to the floor. Both of his hands were unable to even hold the thin tablet anymore. Let go of it until it falls to the floor. Crushing part of the screen.

"This is impossible...." Think of the Oracle with a limp body.

His entire strength seemed to disappear. Returns him like a child overpowered by his own fears.

At its peak, humanity built 12 dimensional gates all over the world.

United States, New York.

China, Beijing.

England, London.

Germany, Berlin.

Russia, Moscow.

Turkey, Istanbul.

The twelve great cities all over the world built 12 dimensional gates. A gate that connects humanity into an unknown universe.

However, humanity is not at all interested in the universe in that different dimension.

Not one bit. Or at least, not for that moment.

What they were looking for was only the extremely abundant energy from that dimensional gap. An energy that can only be obtained by drilling dimensions.

And the energy now called Flux is what is considered a great leap for mankind.

However, ever since the counterattack from the monsters that came from that other dimension, the entire dimensional gate had been abandoned.

Neither side, not even the Liberators, managed to defend it.

It was because those dimensional gates continuously sent out monsters nonstop.

And that same gate was the place where the monsters returned after successfully destroying this earth.

But now....

What the Oracle saw in the satellite image....

It was something he never imagined at all.

The birth of a third party in this battle.

"Oracle, are you okay?" Frans asked as he extended his right hand. Trying to help the Oracle get back on its feet.

The Oracle received Frans' right hand and stood up immediately.

What he said made sense. Frans was also able to accept the explanation and reason of the Oracle itself.

On the tablet screen, it is clearly visible a photo of the pile of corpses of monsters that were preyed upon by the new monster.

Where the body of the new monster, just like the one faced by Axel today, seemed to be a combination of several mutated beasts. Now it is a giant size.

And they, greedily spent a lot of Flux fluid leaking around the portal.

"Not only humans, they also evolved huh?" The Oracle saw the horror.

A party that knows nothing but prey on its victims.

"Axhelen. You hear me?" Ask the Oracle of that communication channel.

Axel who was still running and fishing for the beast monster replied.

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"*We will classify the monster in Chimera ID, A+ level. The analysis showed the monster had high endurance, agility, and physical strength. But it was different from other monsters.

The monster this time.... Have Flux centered right in their heart. Maybe you could try to attack him*?" Obviously Oracle at length.

While still talking, the beast monster jumped right at Axel and smashed the ground where it landed.

The chimera immediately reacted and jumped back. Even with his huge body, he was extremely agile.

Meanwhile, Axel instead looked silent on the spot.

"That's right...." Axel said while looking at his green spear.

Different from the monsters before.

This Chimera is really strong in every field. Defensive, strength, or speed.

Quickly, the woman who was none other than Eva immediately lifted Axel's body and took him away from this place.

"You all right?" Ask Eva briefly.
