Decisions

Everyone gathered in the living room. Rania invites Alika and Arga to sit down first. However, the woman did not release Dylan from beside her.

Rania hugged her son's arm. He wouldn't let Dylan go with the man who left them first.

Alika gave the glass filled with water that Dylan had previously given them to Arga. The man only took a sip once.

“Mas Arga is now not as healthy as it used to be. This disease actually existed 6 months ago. This week just came kembai.”

“Ngot treated, Aunt?” ask Dylan.

Alika nodded, “Already, Mas Arga has also undergone chemotherapy.”

“Can you know what pain is?” Rania pulls Dylan's arm when her son seems to care about her ex-husband.

The boy looked up, then fell silent.

“Your father has blood cancer.”

Dylan looked up when he heard the words of his stepmother. He looked at the pale looking Arga.

Arga looked at Dylan. The man's look was sweet. However, even though the body feels weak Agra tries to sit upright.

“Dad doesn't know how much longer to live. I'm sorry to you and your mother, son. Forgive Father.”

Dylan shook his head and listened only to his real father's words. Arga turned to look at his ex-wife.

“Rania, forgive me for everything I did to you. I know all my mistakes are not easy for you to forgive, but with life likely soon I just want to be forgiven by you.”

The woman sitting opposite Arga was shedding tears.

“Now when you are difficult also you need us. Do you remember us when you were happy?”

The guy's shoulder shook, “I know that's my biggest mistake Rania. I left you to find pleasure on your own. I never even looked for you when I was happy, but now let me atone for all those sins.”

“I don't allow you to bring Dylan.” The hug on Dylan's arm was further tightened by Rania.

“You must not be selfish, Ma'am.” Rania glared when she heard Alika's words, “Mas Arga wants to also live with her biological child. His age may not be long. He just wants to make his own son happy.”

“I'm selfish you said?” Rania patted the chest with a discouraged speaking voice, “you selfish!”

Instantly the voice of the woman who the valleys filled the living room even to sound out of the house.

“Do you know my suffering while raising Dylan? Without Dad and without anyone's rocks. I worked hard to raise him. Now you guys come to separate me and my son.” Rania talks sambari crying.

“Already, Bu.” Dylan tried to calm the mother down.

“Listen!” Dylan re-opens, “My life is 20 years. In the eyes of the law I am an adult. I have the right to decide what is best for myself. If you want me to stay with you, not your mother you ask, but me.” The man who spoke with great emphasis pointed at his chest many times.

Rania rubbed the two arms of the son just as her wayang sambari shook her head. Tears still wet his cheeks.

“What is your decision, son? You want ‘kan stay with Dad. I'll pay for your education. Even if you want to study abroad Dad is ready to pay it.”

“From childhood mom never taught me to be materialistic. Simple life is enough for me Dad,” said Dylan who managed to slap Arga invisible.

The young man took a deep breath. He looked at the mother who hugged him and was still crying. Dylan turned his gaze to hold back the tears that wanted to come out.

“From the beginning I always asked Mom. What's Dad like? Mother said my father was gone. Why can't I just look at the picture? Because people who have left should not continue to be mourned and remember.” Dylan looked at Arga, “I don't think that makes sense. There must be something you're hiding. I'm trying to uncover it. Until we accidentally found. And I regret too much to meet you.”

This scarred man shed his tears again, “I'm sorry dad, son. I did have a big mistake with you and your mother.”

Dylan rubbed the part of the cheek that had been watering from his eyes.

“I want to stay with Dad,” said Dylan looking the other way.

Rania who heard quickly looked up. The woman shook her head many times.

This boy tried to calm the mother down, “Quiet, Mom! I'm not leaving Mom. I promise.”

The young man looked again at Arga and Alika, “I want Mom to also stay at Dad's house. I promised myself. Wherever I live you must be in the same place. Even if I get married later.”

Arga looked at Alika. The woman who was his wife now nodded slowly. He agrees that Dylan and Rania live in their house.

Three times the bell of the big house rang. Not long after the door of the house was opened by the housekeeper who worked there.

“Come, login! Think of it as your own home,” said Alika who guided her husband.

Rania and Dylan watched the mansion. The house is 5 times larger than the Luna house which they consider to be luxurious.

Dylan nodded, “Thank you, Aunt.”

“How was the result, Mom?” the question came from Alexa who was walking down from the second floor.

“This look who came dear,” reply Alika with a smile.

Alexa opened her mouth without making a sound when she saw Dylan at her house. The girl's eyes twinkled. He wanted to scream loudly at this moment. However, the pleasure he channeled by hugging Dylan.

“I'm so glad you stayed here.” The man moved slowly because he was uncomfortable with the treatment of his half-brother. Alexa takes off hugs, “we're really brothers now? I call you brother?”

Arga laughed softly, “Yes now you guys are brothers. Which gets along! Daddy doesn't want to see you guys fighting. Dylan take care of his sister.”

Dylan nodded.

The long haired girl smiled loosely, “Tante, Big brother let me show you your room!"

“Iya thank you,” reply Rania who is still awkward.

“Now can I call Auntie, Mommy too?” alexa asked while walking to the second floor.

“Mother only. Same as Dylan.”

“OK, Mother.”

They kept talking lightly until their destination.

From the side Arga still watched them. Now the man with this malignant disease is a little calm. His family is gathered now.

“You're right Rania is also staying here?” ask Arga to his wife.

Alika tried to smile in front of the man, “Neither, Mas. There's no other way Dylan could stay with you. If you want to make your child happy. You better be happy with her mother.”

“Thank you Alika. I am deeply indebted to you and your family.”

Alika smiled with teary eyes. In his heart he said, “I should have said so, Mas. Thank you for coming to save my life that was almost ruined.”

“Come to room! You have to rest a lot, Mas.”

Arga nodded and followed Alika who swept her into the room.
