Zara came home late last night with Zidan. Today he did not attend a class. He woke up late and giggled if he left now. Finally, he decided to go to the campus cafeteria while waiting for the next course hour.
He enjoyed the meatballs he ordered. In a hurry, he had no breakfast. Since last night, Zara was reminded of the orphanage that had raised her to this size. He wanted to visit the orphanage. But he hasn't been there in a long time. He also did not know how his friends and mother were caring for him at this time.
'Zidan, today I'm not allowed to go to work?' Zara sent a message to Zidan.
'What's up?' In less than five seconds, Zidan had replied to the message.
'There's a little business. I want to visit the orphanage after coming home from college.' Zara replied.
'Alright. Do I need to be with you?' reply Zidan.
'No need. You finish your job. Miss you. I love you.' Zara replied.
Zidan smiled faintly upon receiving the message. Then he put his phone back in his pocket. Zidan continued his work.
Zara developed her smile. He still can't believe he's Zidan's girlfriend. But he also did not want to take advantage of Zidan's wealth and fame for himself. Until now, he did not know the reason Zidan loved him as he does today.
But the deepest little heart implied a feeling of worry. The relationship will go smoothly given their different social status. Zara has never met Zidan's parents in person. He only knew through Zidan's story that his parents were good people. They never distinguish people because of their social status.
Although not even a month they are made, but Zidan several times offered to meet Zidan's parents. But Zara felt unprepared.
Not felt, now it has entered the second course hour. He's getting ready for his class. After paying for the meatballs she had eaten earlier, Zara rushed to her class.
"Where have you been?" asked Rinda who happened to be standing in the middle of the door. He looked at Zara with annoyance.
"It's none of your business, right" replied Zara flatly. He soon entered his class.
"Zara wait!" rinda held Zara's hand. Zara turned around and now they were facing each other. Zara was indeed being indifferent to her classmates. Chatting with them alone was very rare for him because he used to have to work here and there for the sake of his life.
"I didn't think yes. It could be that Nirmala ma'am gave you a chance to join a group with Raffa," said Rinda upset.
"What's? Mean you?" ask Zara confused. Today he did not take classes when Nirmala taught. So he doesn't know anything.
All his classmates saw Zara and Rinda fighting with their mouths. Rinda loved Raffa from the first day of college. But he did not dare and had no chance to get close to Raffa. Raffa's cold and talkative attitude made him even more afraid. Rinda always hoped for the presentation or the final task of one group with Raffa. In fact, until the fourth semester he never had that opportunity.
"Yes, Nirmala gave the final assignment for her course. Like the previous semester, Ms. Nirmala divided several groups and one group of two people. And you're in a group with Raffa. Why should you? I know you must have a sneaky way, right?" rinda was getting upset. Even he blatantly said so and in front of Raffa as well.
Zara who knew nothing just rolled her eyeballs lazily. He had just arrived in his class and immediately got such an accusation.
"I just came to class" replied Zara.
"You are." said Rinda furiously. He clenched his hands holding back his emotions.
"Hey, I rarely communicate with him, it's just one group. Very awkward, not really," Zara's mind was sad.
Soon, the second hour began. The teacher began teaching in class. Not much material today as it is close to UAS.
When she finished, Zara decided to stay for a moment. He wants to discuss the task with Raffa and make sure he is in a group with Raffa. In the class, they both live. Zara approached Raffa who was packing her goods.
"Hi Raffa," Zara said awkwardly. Raffa looked at Zara at a glance. He was standing near Zara.
"I'm sorry I didn't get in during Nirmala's school hours. I just want to ask what the final task will be like?" ask Zara carefully.
Raffa pulled out his book. He held his left hand. Zara looked at Raffa confusedly.
"Borrow your cell phone" Raffa said.
"Oh," Zara answered briefly. He immediately pulled out his phone and gave it to Raffa. Raffa photographed the task he recorded today. He also wrote something.
"I have a photo. You understand very well" said Raffa. Zara smiled awkwardly. He took his phone back.
Raffa walked ahead of Zara. But when in the doorway he turned to look at Zara who was still staring in place.
"So I also recorded my phone number. If there are people who do not understand or need to discuss only chatt," said Raffa.
"alright. Hopefully we can work well together" replied Zara. He smiled widely. Raffa nodded and left Zara who was still in the classroom.
Zara recalled, she wanted to go to the parlour today. He immediately headed to the nearest supermarket to bring them snacks. Then he went to the orphanage.
Before long, he had already arrived before the gate of the parlour. The home he had left two years ago. Zara started to open the gate and entered slowly.
"Sir Zaraaaa." cried the little boy who ran up to him. Zara was close to the boy. Name's Ayana. Little girl who's a little chatty.
"Hi Ayana's. Brother Zara is very kangen with you," said Zara while hugging Ayana. Maybe he's about six.
"Yes too. I really like Brother Zara. Aya's friends also miss Zara's sister. Let's go, brother, let's go inside. What did Zara bring?" ayanah said at length. Zara just smiled and brought Ayana inside. Not to forget he also gave some food that he brought earlier to Ayana. To share with his friends. Zara heads to the nanny's room to see Yasmin's mom.
"Excuse me" Zara said at the babysitter's doorstep.
"Zara's.. Oh, my God, you're finally home, too" Yasmin said. He immediately approached Zara and hugged her. Spilling all his yearning for these two years. Ms. Yasmin shed her tears.
"How's mom doing?" ask Zara. Eyes glazed.
"Good darling. How's your life out there? You must be in a lot of trouble, right? Oh yeah, sit down first. Same story mom," said Ms. Yasmin. Zara and Ms. Yasmin sat in the chair. Zara began to recount her complaints all along. His life after deciding to live independently.
