Eps. 23 (season 2)

Two days later...

Zidan prepares to attend the birthday party of Raymond's daughter. Actually he was lazy, but because he was bound by promises and contracts inevitably he had to attend.

The event was held in a hotel owned by Mr. Raymond. For the matter of gifts and clothes that he will wear, of course, he left it to Fanny and Aletta. Zidan wouldn't bother with a little thing like that. Unless Zara's on her birthday.

"Aahh, why does Zara always fill my mind," Zidan muttered as he reflected before leaving for the event. But he likes to imagine and fantasize about his relationship with Zara. Only Zara, he will only marry and live with Zara.

Zidan exits his room and is greeted by Fanny. They left the apartment together. Fanny drove her car to the Patria hotel where the event took place.

Soon, they arrived at the hotel. Instantly the reporters swarmed Zidan. And unfortunately again, it turns out this show was broadcast live on one of the television stations. Fanny tries to protect Zidan from the reporter.

They trudged towards the hall. Until he got there he was immediately greeted by Mr. Raymond and Karina. They greet each other. Fanny gives Karina her card.

"Welcome Zidan. Finally you're going to my daughter's birthday party" welcome Mr. Raymond. Zidan and Raymond shook hands. Zidan just smiled. And that was forced.

"Hi, I'm Karina. Thank you for being my partner tonight" Karina said. He's approaching Zidan.

"I'm Zidan" Zidan replied briefly.

Mr. Raymond allowed Zidan and Karina time to get to know each other. He knew this was their first meeting. Tuam Raymond wanted Zidan to be his son-in-law. And it was fitting, because Karina had also fallen in love with Zidan.

Zidan was eager to go home right now, but he had to hold it off for at least the next few hours. Zidan also did not want to ruin the happiness of Raymond's family.

After it was felt that the invited guests were present, Mr. Raymond immediately told the host to start this event. The event began with the reception of the guests and the thanks from Mr. Raymond. Then followed again with a little speech from Karina. Karina did not forget to introduce Zidan as her boyfriend. Initially Zidan wanted to make a sound at that moment as well. He wanted to deny the rumors, but this was not his show. Zidan must be able to hold himself back.

Until at its peak is the blowing of candles and cutting of birthday cakes. All the guests cheered happily. Karina's first piece of cake was given to her father, Mr. Raymond. If you ask about his mother why not present, because Karina's parents have long divorced and have their own families. The second piece of cake he gave specifically to Zidan. Zidan was forced to accept it.

After that, the dance began. This time Zidan refused to dance with Karina. But it wasn't Mr. Raymond's name if it couldn't force Zidan. She also danced with Karina.

The day is getting late. Zidan managed to quit the show on the grounds that he was not feeling well. Zidan returned home after saying goodbye to Raymond and Karina.

"Young master, you look bad" said Fanny.

"How can it be good, the woman clings directly to me. I don't like his aggressive attitude so much" Zidan replied resentfully. Barra just nodded slowly. He drove his car to the apartment.

The next day, as Zara was walking towards her campus she saw a newspaper being peddled by her merchants. What makes Zara curious is the familiar face she thinks. Like Zidan's face.

Zara saw the newspaper. She was a little surprised. That's a photo of Zidan. He hugged a woman at a party. And he accidentally read the contents of the article that discussed Zidan and Karina, the woman who was photographed dating.

"Oh, so this is Zidan's girlfriend? Beautiful too," murmured Zara involuntarily.

"Neng, would you like to buy a newspaper?" ask the merchant.

"Eh, don't be sir" replied Zara. He immediately returned the paper and walked back to the campus.

Zara's been working in Zidan's office for a week. And during that time he just sat on the sofa while watching Zidan who was busy working.

This job, Zara really doesn't understand how Zidan's mind works. Only brewed a cup of coffee but he was paid three times his salary at the store at that time.

He also did not feel harmed by this. It is fortunate a lot. But with Zidan? What is the advantage in this. Of course this job was just his guise to get close to Zara.

Zidan was more and more convinced of his feelings. He also did not want to lose to Barra who was willing to marry. Although Zidan doesn't matter if Barra gets married first. Zidan will continue to fight for Zara no matter what.

"Zara, come here!" said Zidan. Zara immediately headed to Zidan's desk.

"Yes?" answer Zara.

Without further ado, Zidan pulls Zara until Zara sits on his lap. Zara was surprised and immediately let go. But Zidan held him by hugging him.

"Zi-Zidan, what are you doing?" zara was nervous. But Zidan just buried his face on Zara's shoulder.

Sounds familiar indeed by calling directly the name and greeting 'me you' between Zara and Zidan. But that was all a request from Zidan himself. Zidan will punish Zara if Zara wrongly calls it.

"You're so skinny" said Zidan, who looked up at Zara. Zidan ignored Zara's question.

"Huh?" Zara's getting the wrong way. Especially now that he was sitting on Zidan's lap. It's a shame if anyone suddenly comes into the room.

Zidan gently stroked Zara's broken hair. Zara just kept quiet with Zidan's treatment of her. I don't want to reject that touch either. Zidan smiled faintly while watching Zara. It turns out that Zara is prettier when viewed up close like this.

"What semester have you been in college?" ask Zidan.

"Semester four" replied Zara.

"Still a long time ago dong lulusnya," said Zidan. Ara scrunched her forehead. He looked at Zidan with a confused look. What's the deal with Zidan? Think Zara this time.

"That's why?" ask Zara from the beginning.

"It's okay. Means it's still a long marriage dong," said Zidan and smiled a little.

"Yes maybe," Zara replied and grimaced towards Zidan.

"If someone suddenly proposes to you, will you accept it or not?" ask Zidan the umpteenth time. Actually, Zara from earlier did not understand where Zidan's conversation was going. Suddenly asked something personal like this. And strangely again their position now.

"Yes depends. If he's good I'll take it" Zara replied.

"Yes, don't be like this. I'm not comfortable with Zidan," Zara whined.

"But I'm comfortable. I'm the boss here" said Zidan casually. Zara relented. He did lose when it came to their current position. Zara stared intently at Zidan. Had he had more courage, he would have punched Zidan's smooth face by now.

"Why? Ask to be kissed?" zidan asked and he laughed again. Zara smiled cynically. He immediately turned his face away.

"Who wants to be kissed by you" said Zara Lirih. Zidan could barely hear it.
