Every day Yasmin was in the care of Mary. Bu Yati and Mr. Anto leave it when they leave for work in the morning and go home in the middle of the night.
Mary, who also had a baby, is now like she has two children. Yasmin is like her own child because often Bu Yati and Pak Anto forget to buy formula milk for Yasmin, so that Maria who is still giving breast milk to her child, she also gave breast milk to Yasmin.
Yasmin's milk mother, as Mary is today. Luckily Yasmin was nurtured by Maria who despite having a night woman background, but her maternal side was very large.
Maria loved Yasmin so much that she told her biological children that Yasmin and Tian, her children, were brothers.
Time passes so fast. While the debts of Bu Yati and Pak Anto increased a lot. Plus Mr. Anto who is often sickly, and Bu Yati is increasingly troubled when having to take care of Mr. Anto who is sick and has to keep working from morning to night.
Yasmin's growth day is changing. Now Yasmin transformed as a beautiful girl who grew up in the nightclub area.
Yasmin was indeed guarded completely by Mary so as not to fall in love with the association around them. Maria doesn't want Yasmin to regret it.
But unfortunately, Yasmin did not learn about religion because no one taught it. Only religious lessons at school were learned. The minimal religious lesson was even like the wind and then for Yasmin.
"Zahra, don't you want to go to school again?" ask Maria to Yasmin.
Yasmin stopped eating, she turned to look at Maria. Then Yasmin showed her sweet smile to Maria. And Yasmin's smile was able to hypnotize Maria. Even as long as Maria took care of him to such an extent, she could never scold him. Yasmin's beautiful smile left Maria devastated and unable to get angry at her.
"Miss Mary must know the answer even though Zahra did not answer. Already able to go to school until Junior High Zahra was very lucky Mom."
"You are smart, you should be able to continue school by accepting the scholarship offered to you" said Maria with a little annoyance.
Yasmin smiled again, she put down her spoon and held Maria's hand on the table. Then he said,
"Now the most important thing for Zahra is Father and Mother. They are old and sick. While their debt is still very much on Boss Leo. Zahra Harua works ma'am, Zahra must be able to pay their debts. And those debts are mostly because of Zahra, right?"
Maria stared intently at Yasmin's bead eyes, her eyes slightly teary at Yasmin's words. He did not think that the child who was recognized as the son of Bu Yati and Pak Anto had a very noble and very good heart. He never denied or troubled Mary as his caretaker.
"You're a good boy Zahra. Hopefully after all this, you will get happiness that you have never felt before" said Maria sincerely to Yasmin.
Yasmin smiled and nodded, then she continued eating before she had to return to work.
"Mother Mary, Zahra is leaving first. Pray for all Zahra's merchandise to be unnoticed" Yasmin said with a big smile and waved her hand.
Maria nodded and let go of Yasmin by returning a wave of her hand.
"Actually who are you, Zahra? You are so beautiful and kind. Hope you meet your family soon, "Maria prayed for Yasmin when she saw her passing.
Yasmin took the time to stop by the nightclub where Bu Yati and Pak Anto worked. He asked the guards to call his Father and Mother.
Pak Anto and Bu Yati also came out to meet with his son. They knew it was Zahra who wanted to meet them to deliver food for them.
"Who is that?" ask Boss Leo to the guard who was there.
Boss Leo smiled looking at Yasmin from top to bottom. He sees it like someone is asking for it.
After giving food to Pak Anto and Bu Yati, Yasmin brought her merchandise around to peddle her.
He peddled merchandise from the grocery stores that were around the area.
"Eh there's a pretty girl. Unfortunately, it's pretty-beautiful sales of cangcimen," said a young man who closed the school uniform he wore using a black hoodie.
There were three young men sitting together with the young man. They all turned their eyes to follow his friend's index finger.
"indiscriminately. He's brother!" Tian exclaimed as he smacked the hand of his friend who pointed towards Yasmin.
"Brother? How do we not know? What brother?" ask one of them who is very curious about Tian's relationship and the beautiful girl they saw.
"Don't ask too many questions. Just be careful if you bother him. I'll finish you off!" Tian threatened his friends by showing his cruel face.
As soon as they all raised both of their hands up as a sign of them giving up, they would not bother the girl Tian recognized as his brother.
Tian was indeed very caring for Yasmin as her brother, as Maria, her mother, had always said. But the interest in Yasmin came because they were often together and because of Yasmin's beauty that could not be denied.
At once the taste he lost because he knew that his mother was the mother of milk from Yasmin, the woman he loved.
Tian blames her mother for being Yasmin's mother, but she can't change things.
Zahra, the girl's name remains the occupant in her heart and she promises to keep looking after her. Moreover, Maria, their mother always warned that Yasmin whom they called by the name of Zahra should be careful in their environment. And Maria forbade Yasmin from entering the nightclub for whatever reason and condition she was in.
A few weeks later, Mr. Anto fell ill again. Worse yet now Mr. Anto can only lie on his bed.
"It looks like the treatment at the health center has no results," Bu Yati told Yasmin as they waited for Mr. Anto who was sleeping in his bed after taking his medicine.
"Then what should we do Mom? Do we need to take you to the hospital?" yasmin asked Ms. Yati.
"We have no money. Our debt alone at Boss Leo is endless. Even every day our debt increases," said Bu Yati with a sigh.
"Zahra will try to borrow money at Zahra Bu's workplace" said Yasmin, who hopes to calm Ms. Yati.
"Borrow at the grocery store? How could it be?" sahut Bu Yati is weak.
"Zahra try it first, ma'am. There will be a way. Don't think too much. Zahra could not if he saw Mom and Dad both sick," said Yasmin while hugging the frail body of Bu Yati.
Bu Yati smiled and tightly hugged Yasmin's body, then she said,
"You're really our son."
