Morning is the beginning of the day. Likewise with Pandu and Mirna who started their day by going to the market together like a taxi driver with his passengers because Mirna sat with a distance that seemed far from Pandu.
In the market Pandu not only deliver Mirna, but he also follows Mirna to shop into the market from one stand to another.
"Mom, the meat as usual yes," Mirna told the butcher.
"Eh Bu Mirna, yes Ma'am I prepared first, wait a minute yes," the butcher responded to Mirna's order.
"Here let me bring it," said Pandu while taking the meat parcel given by the butcher to Mirna.
"That's Bu Mirna's new husband, ma'am?" ask the butcher to Mirna when Mirna will walk away from her meat stall.
Mirna did not reply, she walked away from the stall to the next stall.
"Why not answer?" ask the guide to Mirna.
"Make what? Being answered unanswered remains a matter of talk. What do you want to answer anyway? If they say no, they will not believe it. You followed me shopping like a real husband" replied Mirna with a sewot.
"I'll just help, according to Mr. Ratmo's orders to me before leaving," replied Pandu while walking along with Mirna.
At the other stall, Mirna gets the same question from the seller. And Mirna responded with the same attitude, without answering their questions she passed by.
"Mom, buy the chicken as usual" Mirna told the chicken seller after switching from the vegetable stall.
"Ready Bu Mirna, this I have prepared earlier," said the chicken seller while giving a package containing chicken orders Mirna.
And the same thing is done by Pandu as before in other kiosks. Pandu took the package to carry it.
"Mother's new husband, Miss Mirna, Mom? Pinter Bu Mirna if you choose a husband, handsome," said the chicken seller while chuckling and giving his thumbs to Mirna and Pandu.
Mirna simply passed by without answering or smiling. He put on a flat face and walked away from the stall.
"New husband? Are you married?" tanya Pandu is interrupted by her steps that coincide with Mirna.
"I'm widowed. Don't come close so you don't think you're my new husband" replied Mirna, who is still in her seat on Pandu, each answering her question.
"Oh. pantesan kok never see your husband at home," said Pandu later.
Not knowing if I was a widow because I was divorced, where maybe my husband was at home, who was in his house with his new wife, Mirna said resentfully in her heart.
"Where else are we going?" ask Pandu to Mirna after there was no response from Mirna for her words earlier.
"All you guys," Mirna answered briefly as she walked out of the market to their motorcycle parking lot.
Pandu followed Mirna's orders, he drove his bike towards the Mirna stall according to Mirna's directions. Because he did not know the direction in the area, Pandu asked Mirna to tell him the direction since from the house.
"Prince the direction let me not be tired of continuing to know," Mirna said with a sewot on Pandu after getting off the bonbar of his motorbike when it reached the stall.
Mirna rolled her eyes lazily. He was embarrassed because Pandu drove and followed him to the market earlier to cause gossip among the sellers in the market.
Mirna was worried if the sellers told Mbak Atik and Umi Sarifah when they met them in the market.
Since Mirna still expected to re-enter their family, she now completely kept her attitude as Mr. Ratmo suggested to her.
Mr. Ratmo suggested that Mirna change her shield, change her attitude to be better so that she could get the right pair. But Mirna did the advice of Mr. Ratmo in hopes of being able to return in the middle of the large family Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin.
When Mr. Ratmo was already at the Al-Mukmin Boarding School, he met Ustadz Fariz and Ustadz Jaki money was walking together towards the room of Ustadz Fariz.
"Ustadz, can I talk to you for a second?" Mr. Ratmo stopped the footsteps of Ustadz Fariz and Ustadz Jaki.
Ustadz Fariz and Ustadz Jaki stared at each other in wonder, they thought the same thing, they were afraid that what Mr. Ratmo was talking about was Mirna.
"Eh Mr. Ratmo, please sir, let's talk in my room only," replied Ustadz Fariz as his hands extended towards his room.
"No need Ustadz, just talk here, just for a moment really," said Mr. Ratmo with condolences.
"Yes sir then. What's up, sir?" asked Ustadz Fariz to Mr. Ratmo.
"This is Ustadz I want to ask, what here needs the power of a man? It just so happens that someone is in desperate need of a job" Mr. Ratmo replied carefully.
"If it were to ask with Ustadz Jaki alone Sir, because the one who handled it was Ustadz Jaki," Ustadz Fariz responded to Mr. Ratmo's question.
"Who Sir?" now Ustadz Jaki asked.
"The person who was in desperate need of the job was the husband of the man Ustadz was helping with his funeral at the time. Poor children are in great need of living and shelter," replied Mr. Ratmo by explaining the truth so that Ustadz Fariz and Ustadz Jaki pityed Pandu and gave him a job.
According to Mr. Ratmo, the Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin family has a high sense of humanity, so he hopes that Pandu will be given a job because of their compassion for him.
Ustadz Jaki turned his head towards Ustadz Fariz who was beside him. And from the eyes of Ustadz Fariz can be read by Ustadz Jaki that he objected to the presence of Pandu in the neighborhood of Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin.
Ustadz Jaki understands that, he does not want Pandu to disturb Rhea and disturb the peace of the Ustadz Fariz and Rhea families. So Ustadz Jaki decided without asking verbally to Ustadz Fariz.
"Sorry sir, I think for now in Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin still does not need a new workforce. Ask the locals, or go to a store or somewhere else. Who knows they need his strength," Ustadz Jaki firmly refused Mr Ratmo's request.
"Sorry sir, we'll excuse you. Now is the time to teach. Assalamu'alaikum," Ustadz Fariz ended their conversation and left Mr. Ratmo followed by Ustadz Jaki who also greeted him.
"Assalamu'alaikum" Ustadz Jaki greeted Ustadz Fariz before leaving to leave Mr Ratmo, who was still there.
"Wa'alaikumussalam," replied Mr. Ratmo as he looked at the backs of the two Ustadz who left him.
Why won't they help Pandu by giving him a job? Though they helped the hospital and funeral costs of his wife, Mr. Ratmo wondered in his heart.
