Chapter 157 Wants to take it back
After the departure of Rhea and Ustadz Fariz from the living room, Umi Sarifah also left the living room.
"Sorry, Umi just go in first" said Umi Sarifah before leaving the living room.
"Darling, I'm going to be late. Depart now yuk," Shinta told Ustadz Jaki to take him to take Shinta to work.
"Oh yes, let's go," Ustadz Jaki agreed to Shinta's remarks.
Ustadz Jaki took Shinta to help her stand up. Shinta smiled accepting help from her husband.
"Oh yeah, we're leaving now. Are you guys gonna stay here?" said Ustadz Jaki before entering with Shinta intending to drive Pandu away subtly.
"Eh sorry, we're leaving now," Ani said in embarrassment.
"Thank you for feeding us. We go first. Assalamu'alaikum..," Ani reconnected because Pandu never thanked them.
"Mom, where are we going? Hana tired. Hana likes it here," Hana whines when she is taken by Ani to be invited out of Umi Sarifah's house.
"Udah yuk, come along" said Ani with a very embarrassed face and pulled Hana's hand to leave the house faster.
Pandu was forced to come out of the house without talking anything to Ustadz Jaki and Shinta when walking out of the house.
Ustadz Jaki and Shinta feel sorry for Hana who they think Hana is only a victim of the selfishness of her parents.
Feeling a little far from Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin, Ani stopped at a field and looked at Pandu with an annoyed look.
Pandu also stopped and looked at his wife who was staring annoyed at him.
"What's wrong? Why stop here?" ask Pandu without guilt to Ani.
Ani was unable to speak as she endured the pain that was squeezing her chest. She just looked at her husband with annoyance and anger rising in her chest.
"Why? You want an explanation from me?" Pandu tried to guess the change in attitude from his wife.
"Yes right, I want to know everything" Ani said in a slightly choked voice as she held back her cries.
"I want to take back everything I had in the past" Pandu said as he sat under a tree near them.
"All?" ani asked with her confused face.
"Yes, because I'm tired of living hard lives like this. I used to work hard, have a good job and enough money. I'm tired of living hard lives like this. Even I am ashamed to have to beg like now," said Pandu annoyedly while throwing a small rock in front of him to the field in front of him.
"It doesn't mean coming back with your ex-wife. She's married and you can't get back together anymore" Ani responded in annoyance.
"But I've always had my face covered and I can't forget it. I hope you can understand" said Pandu by staring Ani expect Ani to understand his will.
"Then what about us? What about me and our kids?" Ani again asked with teary eyes and she shook her head, not believing what she heard.
"You will stay with me because you are my responsibility" Pandu answered lightly.
"You think we women want to be combined? And I think Mas Pandu mistakenly thought that Mas Pandu would have the face of Mas Pandu's ex-wife because you had to be together. Because it was actually God's way of awakening Mas Pandu to apologize to Mas Pandu's ex-wife," now Ani's tears fell down her cheeks when saying it.
Ani can not imagine how a child as small as Hana if he knew the problems that are happening now and of course Hana would be sad if she saw her mother's tears.
"What are you talking about? I felt it, so only I knew what it meant" Pandu was still evasive.
Instantly Ani felt her stomach tighten and pain. He simply closed his eyes while breathing out many times and let out to hold that feeling back from being felt again.
While Pandu saw the building Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin without knowing what was done by his wife and child.
After not feeling what she felt earlier, Ani tried to stand up and walked to calm her mind.
"Mother... Where is mom? Mother." Hana screams for her mother when she turns to her mother's place and turns out she's not there.
Pandu averted his eyes from the building of Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin after hearing Hana scream for her mother.
"Hana, what's wrong?" tanya Pandu approached Hana who was crying.
"Mother. " replied Hana, crying bitterly.
"Where's mom?" ask the guide to Hana.
"Ta-tadi there, continue to be none," Hana replied in between her tears.
"Ani.... Where are you?!" Pandu yelled to his wife.
"Let's find sir. Come on, sneak," said Hana who was still sobbing while pulling the hand of Pandu.
Ani did intend to take a walk around there to calm her heart and find a place to live and work, but unfortunately, she did not know where to return. He had asked people many times, but still he had not found the path he meant.
She had now walked a long way and was lost because she had taken the wrong direction to return to her place with her son and husband.
He is already on the highway. And he saw there was a simple stall that had some buyers eating there.
Ah I try to ask the work there, maybe they need my energy and I will ask about the direction to the boarding house earlier. Hopefully Hana and mas Pandu are still waiting for me there, Ani said inwardly as she rubbed her dripping sweat on her temple.
"Sorry Mommy, is there any work I can do here?" ask Ani to the woman in the shop.
"After Ma'am I asked the owner of the stall first," said the woman.
Ani nodded and waited for the woman to give her answer. In Ani's heart hope if the owner of the stall can accept him to work there.
Ani's eyes caught several kinds of side dishes that were available in the storefront. Ani gulped her saliva, she was very hungry after walking from Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin earlier towards the highway.
"How can I work here?" Ani asked the woman when she was back in front of him.
"For a while, Ma'am, the man was still in the bathroom" the woman told Ani.
"Eh that's the guy. Maud... Ms. Mirna....!" Anita called out the name Mirna.
