Chapter 13 Polygamy

"What do you mean?" Ustad Fariz scrunched his forehead at the sudden words of his wife when he had just returned home.

"I promise I'll let you get married. But on condition that I won't be divorced" Mirna said of her request that she had thought of last night.

"What did you say?" Ustad Fariz asked again because he felt his wife's request was too sudden and unexpected.

"I did allow you to marry that woman, but I hope you don't forget me and you have to be fair. Don't because you love her then you ignore me" Mirna said.

Ustad Fariz held Mirna's shoulder and led her to stand up.

"Have I ever not treated you like a wife? I always show my love, and always obey you. Does all this still make you doubtful?"

Mirna was silent and her head was still down then she nodded. Inwardly she did not want her husband to remarry, yet she was afraid of what she had heard last night.

Ustad Jaki's speech was still clearly ringing in his ears. He confirmed everything Ustad Jaki had said. And it should be true that he must succumb if he does not want to be polygamous. Mirna was worried at this moment over her decision.

"Myrna, what are you thinking so you say that?" asked Ustad Fariz gently and took Mirna to sit in the living room.

Ustad Fariz considered where he was going, because they asked him to meet them together. Finally the footsteps of Ustad Fariz drove him to Ndalem, to the house of Umi Sarifah because the message was more up to first than the message of Mirna, his wife.

After saying hello, Ustad Fariz entered the dining room where there was already Umi Sarifah and Ustad Jaki. They had not eaten yet as they were still waiting for Ustad Fariz to eat together.

This lunchtime event was just silent, there was no chat at all they discussed. Unlike the usual, there is something they always discuss and become their joke material. Whether it's a cottage problem, santri, or it can be from their own problems.

Actually Ustad Jaki and Umi Sarifah want to ask about the last night problem on Ustad Fariz, but it seems like Ustad Fariz still does not want to talk about it. So, Umi Sarifah and Ustad Jaki are not willing to ruin their meal to be uncomfortable.

After they had all finished eating, they gathered in the television room to enjoy tea or coffee and snacks as usual while watching television and chatting in exchange.

"Assalamu'alaikum., ." said the greeting of the person at the door.

"Wa'alaikumusalam..," replied Umi Sarifah, Ustad Jaki and Ustad Fariz simultaneously.

"Eh there's a beautiful woman, please come in. Tumben here?" ask Ustad Jaki to the guy.

"This is going to send Umi's order. Yesterday Umi asked to make pandan sponge cake. So all of you cook for my channel earlier," said Rhea with a smile on her lips.

Ustad Fariz who heard Rhea's voice immediately stood up and approached her.

"Zahra... ka-you.. Is this really you?" tanya Ustad Fariz did not believe in his vision.

"Ustad, hehehe, sorry to come here," said Rhea answered Ustad Fariz's question.

Ustad Fariz was dumbfounded, his feelings mixed between joy and worry.

"Let's go in, Umi's inside" said Ustad Jaki.

"Come in a minute, surely Umi would like to meet you," persuaded Ustad Jaki so that Rhea would go in to see Umi Sarifah.

"Mmm. but just a moment Ustad, because there is something to be done immediately," Rhea smiled broadly showing her rows of teeth.

Ustad Fariz is more burning jealous right now than seeing the familiarity between his Zahra and Ustad Jaki.

"Let's go in, Umi's inside," Ustad Jaki walked in first.

Rhea walked after Ustad Jaki, and Ustad Fariz walked behind Rhea.

"Umi's beautiful eee has arrived. Here sitting near Umi," Umi Sarifah was very pleased with the arrival of Rhea.

"It's Umi cake ordered by Umi yesterday. Sorry if the taste is not as good as Umi thought," said Rhea with a sweet smile.

"Delivered who?" the voice of Ustad Fariz made Rhea turn her head, and it turned out that Ustad Fariz was following her behind him.

"There are, you know," said Rhea trying to joke with Ustad Fariz to eliminate their awkwardness that felt suddenly.
