First Love of Ustadz
Chapter 129 The tormenting memory

Pandu dreams of getting lost in the forest and no one is with him. He ran through the forest looking for someone.

"Rhea!" Pandu yells calling the name of a woman in his sleep which means he shouts in his dream.

No one in the forest said. He again ran down the forest, but fateful he even mired and fell rolling from the top of the cliff.

"Rhea, help me! Where are you? Rhea!" Pandu screamed in his dream by holding his bloody head.

"Rhea?" ani said when she woke up from her sleep because she heard screams from her husband.

"Rhea who? Is he someone from Mas Pandu's past?" Ani was still asking herself.

Pandu felt like he saw a woman he called by the name of Rhea. Hand Pandu stretched out to reach the woman who was not far in front of him, but over time the woman faded no longer known where her whereabouts.

"Rhea!" Pandu yelled while getting up from his sleep.

Cold sweat soaks the body of Pandu. His breath was panting as if running away with a distance that was not close.

"Mas... Mas Pandu why Mas? Was dreaming? Or is someone sick?" Rhea asked Pandu by wagging her arms.

Pandu was shocked when he saw Ani who was beside him with the upper part of his body that did not wear anything and was covered with a blanket by Ani's hands.

"D-His?" said Pandu with his confused face.

"Yes Mas, it's me, Ani Mas Pandu's wife," Ani answered him to convince Pandu.

The face of Pandu is very confused, it seems Pandu still combines his dream with the reality that is before him today.

Rheas? Who her? But it seems like I was very sad and lost when she disappeared. Is he someone from my past? And now in fact I have become the husband of Ani. Oh my God.. What does all this mean? Why so confusing me? Pandu said in his heart with both hands holding his head hoping that he could remember more of what he had lost from his memories.

"Auch..," Pandu grimaced in pain while trying to recall his lost memories.

"Why Mas? Is Mas Pandu's head hurting again?" Ani asked with concern.

"It hurts. Auchhh..," Pandu answered him with enduring the excruciating pain in his head.

"For a while Mas, this is drinking Mas Pandu just drink it first," said Ani while giving a glass of water that he took from the table at his bedside.

Pandu received the glass and drank it. The pain in his head gradually disappeared when he no longer tried to remember anything.

"Tomorrow we ask you to make medicine for his headache Mas Pandu. Now Mas Pandu sleep first yes," said Ani while helping Pandu lay Pandu's body back into bed.

Ani's feelings are increasingly uncertain, she is afraid that Pandu's memory will return and leave her if there is indeed another woman in her heart.

O God, will I be abandoned by Mas Pandu after we become husband and wife? Then what about my fate if Mas Pandu returns to his past? Am I going to leave him? Ani said in her heart.

He did not want his happiness to be felt for a moment. She wants to be happy with her husband and children. Ani turned to the side where her husband was lying and her eyes were closed. Ani placed her head on her husband's chest, looking for a comfortable place and wrapped her hands around his waist.

The next day, as pronounced by Ani, Mr. Minto made medicine for Pandu.

"Sir, is there a cure for my memory to recover?" Pandu asked Mr. Minto before he blew the medicinal herbs inside the coconut shell.

"Father once made it, but..," said Mr. Minto hanging and he turned to Ani who was sitting near Pandu.

"But why Sir?" asked Pandu who was confused to hear the answer from Mr. Minto who is now his father-in-law.

"Ani, tell me you, Father, if he is afraid that you will leave after you remember your past," Mr. Minto expressed Ani's unease last night.

Pandu was stunned, he forgot that there was Ani in his present. But he was eager to remember who he was and who the woman he had in his dreams last night. Because the dream feels very real to Pandu.

"I just want to know who I really am, sir. And Ani is my wife now, so I can't leave her," Pandu tries to convince Mr. Minto and Ani.

"Did I promise?" Ani now questioned the seriousness of Pandu.

Pandu nodded and held Ani's hand to reassure her. Mr. Minto was relieved that Ani's anxiety from last night was not proven.

"Well, I'll make the medicine. And there are side effects of the drug, but it is not dangerous. Later you explain if you have made it," said Mr. Minto, then he went to bring his bag.

"Where are you going?" Ani asked Mr. Minto when he saw his father going towards the forest.

"Father wants to go find a cure for Pandu for a while," replied Mr. Minti who stopped his steps because of questions from Ani.

"Do I need to accompany you sir?" tanya Pandu who felt sad because it burdened Mr. Minto to make him medicine.

"no need. You better accompany your wife so she doesn't think anymore for fear of you staying" Mr. Minto replied with a chuckle and after that he walked towards the forest.

Pandu turned his head to the side where his wife was sitting now. She looked at Ani's face which blushed in embarrassment to her. But as big as Ani's face turned into the face of Rhea, the face of the woman who was in her dream last night. He remembered that face very much, because it was the face of the woman he missed.

Her eyes were opened and rubbed in her eyes but still the face of the woman in her dream was present in front of her at this time. But when he brought his face closer, it turned out that what he saw was the current face of Ani, the woman who was already his current wife.

Ani's eyes were closed when her husband's face approached her. But for a long time Ani's eyes were closed, there was nothing like Ani's hope. Ani's eyes opened again and saw the face of her husband who had returned away with a confused look and her eyes were rubbed with his hands.

"What's up, Mom? Why else?" Ani asked worriedly and drew closer to her husband.

"No, no reason," replied Pandu by giving a fake smile to Ani.

The household life of Pandu and Ani goes on as usual until Ani conceives a child from Pandu. While the memory of Pandu is still like a puzzle piece that must be gradually put together.

The dream came back again, Pandu met a woman he called by the name of Rhea was walking hand in hand with a man. They walked away from Pandu after the woman he called by the name of Rhea said goodbye to him.

"Rhea don't leave me!" Pandu yelled until he woke up from his sleep.

Rheas? The woman's name again, Ani sat down while pretending to be asleep while still closing her eyes.
