"What's your daughter's name?" ask Mr. Minto when Pandu and Ani brought their newborn child a few days ago in front of the house to be dried in the morning sun.
"Hana Safa Maulida," Pandu replied with a smile engraved on his lips.
"Good Mas, when did Mas Pandu prepare that name?" Ani asked with a happy smile.
"Let's be like a long time ago. There are names of girls and boys that I seem to have prepared. Hana for girls' names and Gibran for boys' names. After you gave birth and I found out if she was a girl, I just added her last name" Pandu replied with a smile while playing her child's finger earlier.
"Looks?" chirped Ani with a surprised face.
"Yes. Suddenly the name was always on my mind. And it seems I have told you. Because as I recall a woman and I talked about the issue of children, and I gave Hana the name of my daughter and the woman gave Gibran the name of a boy. Who else if the woman is not you" replied Pandu by playing the fingers of his son.
Ani looked at her Father. Mr. Minto understood that what Pandu was talking about was not Ani, but another woman, perhaps a woman from Pandu's past.
Mr. Minto does every day provide medicine for Pandu so that his memory is restored. But it seems Pandu cannot distinguish between his past memories and present memories.
"Calm down" Mr. Minto said without making a sound as Ani looked at Mr. Minto.
Pandu is not aware if little by little his memory has returned. Now she feels that her life is happy with Hana in her life.
The little princess was very beautiful and went down Pandu's face. When Pandu saw the tiny and beautiful face of the baby girl, she was very peaceful and happy.
"Hana is very similar to you Pandu" said Mr. Minto when approaching his grandson.
"Yes right sir, Hana is similar to Mas Pandu," Ani replied with a happy smile.
"I'm Hana's Father. Isn't that Hana?" Pandu said Ani unceasingly looking at Hana's face and her hand still touching Hana's body.
Ani was happy to see her husband who loved and loved her son. He was now convinced that Pandu would never leave him because there was Hana who would definitely hold him back from their side.
Little by little for less than a year these memories of Pandu came without him noticing. Because the memory does not only come from his dreams, but sometimes the memory comes when he is still conscious, as if remembering things he has done before.
But the memory torments him the most when he dreams of a beautiful woman he calls Rhea. Rhea's smile could not be lost from her memory even though she was conscious.
Until often the smile was present when Pandu was having a husband and wife relationship with Ani. Ani's face faintly became the face of Rhea who was smiling at him. And strangely Pandu was more excited when he saw the face and smile Rhea who was present replaced Ani's face at that time.
Indeed Pandu is still searching in his memory who is actually Rhea in his memory and is always present in his dreams so that it makes him tormented. Torturing because Rhea always went away and did not want to listen to him or help him at the time in his dreams.
Until one day, Pandu went looking for wood with Mr. Minto into the forest. They split up but Pandu remained under Mr Minto's watch for fear that his son-in-law was lost in the forest.
A flash of Pandu's memory appeared suddenly. About him who was in a car with a woman, then the car entered into the ravine of the forest that is around him today. The memory that suddenly came made Pandu's head very sick. He was groaning in pain with both of his hands holding his head and grabbing his hair.
Mr. Minto immediately ran towards Pandu and took him to sit under a tree near them.
"What's Pandu?" asked the anxious Mr. Minto when he saw Pandu screaming in pain.
"My head hurts so much" Pandu replied, enduring the pain.
"Did you remember anything?" asked Mr. Minto to Pandu who was still grimacing in pain.
"It seems like I remember something sir," Pandu replied with his eyes closed and still felt a pain in his head even though it had lessened slightly.
"Don't force it because it will only torture you. The more you try to remember it, the more it hurts your head. So let the memory slowly come," Mr. Minto gave advice to Pandu.
Pandu also tried to relax and sure enough, slowly the pain in his head gradually disappeared.
"Guide, I hope you will not leave your wife and children even if your memory has returned. You are old Pandu, you can only leave them to you because they are now your responsibility. Please make them happy" said Mr. Minto when Pandu was calmer and did not feel pain again.
"Advice guide sir. Father and Ani were very nice to me. You helped me even though you didn't know who I really was. Thank you sir for your help and want to accommodate me all this time at the house of the Father," said Pandu sincerely looking at Mr. Minto who smiled at him.
"Here you go, let's just go home. It seems like these woods are also enough," said Mr. Minto as he moved from his seat.
Mr. Minto and Pandu returned home with the logs from their search in the forest. And Pandu walked with a very uncomfortable feeling because he was anxious to find out what happened after their car got into the abyss of that time.
In the days after that, Pandu always stole the opportunity to enter the forest when Mr. Minto was traveling to villages to offer his treatment to the surrounding residents. Since then Mr. Minto forbade Pandu to go into the forest, for fear Pandu remembered something again and his head back hurt when not with him. But Pandu really wants to remember what really happened to him so that he can be in the forest.
He also wants to know who he really is as well as who the woman named Rhea is and what relationships they have so Rhea always comes in dreams and is in her memory.
Rhea, was that woman who was in the car with me when the car fell into that abyss? And who are you really? Why do I seem so happy when I'm with you? Pandu said in his heart while looking at the abyss he had in his memory as the car he was riding in fell into the abyss.
