Double-role

Double-role
CHAPTER 7

The word divorce that the husband threw last night continues to ring in memory. Alina could not sleep at all and continued to stay awake in her room. Aqeela who was in the hands of her father made her even more lonely. Usually the presence of the baby can slightly erode the pain.

Like a nightmare, Alina did not expect the painful incident to happen to her so quickly. Being a second wife was not as easy as he thought. From the beginning of marriage alone, he has been the talk of people. And now it's getting worse with the hatred that her husband is incurring.

Even to this day she still has not carried out her duties as a wife. He is like a puppet played by puppeteers. It is like a kite that is pulled over without certainty. He knew the end of his marriage. Divorce can happen.

"Astaghfirullah azim thing, what do you think of Alina? Although Mas Azam did not like me, God hated divorce. Bismillah, I can definitely get through this. I have to be honest and apologize."

After talking, Alina moved from her room.

The situation in the two-story building felt empty. Alina did not find the voice of Aqeela or Azam there. He also stepped his feet behind the house, faintly heard the person talking. He further sped up his path and caught the husband talking to someone by the pool with the baby carriage in their midst.

"You gotit? From now on you work in this house as a babysitter Aqeela."

Azam's words made Alina go silent and kept looking at them in turn. He could see the white-veiled woman nodding obediently.

"Ma-mas, what's going on?" ask Alina directly.

Azam and the woman turned her attention to Alina. "From today Sarah will take care of Aqeela." After saying this, Azam went from the presence of the two women.

Alina stared at the place surprised to hear the words of her husband. He then walked after Azam who was about to get into the car.

"Wait, Mas. What did Mas say just now? Why does Aqeela have to be taken care of with Sarah? I am also his mother, Mas," said Alina did not understand.

Azam closed the door of the four-wheeled vehicle again until his voice was buzzing. Alina looked up at the brownish bead of the husband. Azam looked back at his second wife.

The highlight of the sharp eyes made Alina slightly shudder. Even last night's words come back to memory. As much as he could, he endured to hear his explanation.

"I don't want to entrust Aqeela to someone like you. My wife was lying in the hospital because of whom? You!!" Azam pointed right in front of Alina's face.

The woman flinched and widened her gaze in disbelief. "I-I didn't do it. It's just a misunderstanding. Trust me, I can't hurt Ms. Yasmin." Alina grabbed her husband's left arm.

Immediately Azam threw it down to make Alina again pushed back. Like there was dirt attached, the man rubbed his coat that had been gripped by Alina.

"Never touch me!!" the firm and clear speech Azam made Alina freeze.

With the wind this morning his figure disappeared in view. Azam left leaving an inner wound again. Alina did not expect that her household trip would be full of injuries. Not visible, but so deadly. Not seen, but as if there was blood flowing.

Again and again the tears flowed like a river on his round cheeks.

"I can't believe this is happening to me." Alina looked up to see the gray sky today, "O Allah if our household goes on for a lifetime then strengthen the servant to carry all this. The double role that I hope will be able to walk is fine. I beg you that the misunderstanding that occurred to Ms. Yasmin could be ended soon and Mas Azam opened his heart to accept the servant."

Words of hope are so deeply woven and spoken in the lips of Ranum Alina.

After Azam left, Alina also returned to work as a wife. He did not care if the husband still did not accept it. He only did his best with his new status.

Alina turned her head towards the living room where the newly hired babysitter Azam was holding Aqeela there today. The longing for the figure of a tiny baby in his arms was so stinging. The instincts as a mother led Alina to come closer.

"Can I carry it? Just for a moment," Alina's words made Sarah turn her head.

"But I am also his mother. I have the right to hold Aqeela."

"I'm sorry I was just following your orders, ma'am. I don't want to cause trouble on the first day of work."

Alina could only sigh resignedly not wanting to trouble Sarah either. "All right," that's all he can say and just walk away.

...***...

Azam had already returned to the hospital after clearing up a job at his company. He rushed there impatiently to meet his wife when he heard her condition from the doctor. A smile expands when the woman he loves has opened her eyes.

Yasmin was also sitting while leaning on the head of the bed. Azam went inside and immediately their gazes met.

"Assalamu'alaikum, darling I'm coming." Say it while putting a warm kiss on the forehead.

Yasmin smiled weakly accepting the treatment of her husband.

"How are you doing today?"

Azam switched to sitting on a single sofa beside the bed and grasped Yasmin's hand tightly. His wife replied to the same thing and then nodded briefly.

"Alhamdulillah, fine," he replied briefly.

"I'm sorry. For letting you be like this and letting Alina harm you."

Hearing Azam's words, Yasmin frowned confusedly. "What did you say? Alina didn't hurt me at all."

Azam looked up to look into the iris of my beloved heart. "Before you critical Alina gave you half-cooked or raw food, right? I heard it from the doctor last night."

At first glance, Yasmin's eyes widened, she did not expect that what happened could cause major problems. The head of the hijab shook his head while tightening his grip.

"Alina is innocent, Mas. I asked him to make the food. Do you know if I like eggs? I told Alina. I'm sorry, because of the sud-"

"What are you saying, Yasmin?! You want to leave me by eating that food? The doctor warned you, why is it possible to be violated by a hah?" Azam was seen the emotion of his breathing up and down not careless.

Yasmin was startled and immediately shed tears, seeing that Azam was trying to control himself. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly and hugged his wife tightly.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you earlier. I just don't want to see you in pain like this and I beg you not to do that again. I can't afford to lose you."

Yasmin felt her husband's body tremble. He knew that Azam was crying in silence and returned the embrace.

"I'm really sorry. And don't blame Alina anymore. She's a very nice woman and can replace me at any time."

"Don't say that."

There was no more conversation there. Azam was silent thinking about his treatment last night and also this morning. He was so rude to his second wife. He shouldn't vent his anger and fear on Alina. The woman was completely innocent, Azam was too carried away by the emotions that whack her. He was very afraid of losing his wife. His love for Yasmin was immense.
