Tears flow to be a silent witness to the pain within. I don't know how long Alina's been crying in her husband's arms. It had a magical effect on his heart. There is a relief that cannot be described.
Azam who felt Alian stop crying loosened his embrace and fused their eyebrows together. The brownish eyeballs looked at each other and immersed in the beauty of each.
Second after second clinked into a melody of unification. Keharominsan is present when a gaping wound has been created. Hiding does not mean forever keeping the word okay. Inside it contains an atomic bomb that is ready to explode at any time.
Flowers that have been picked cannot be as ready. Glass that has been broken can not return intact. Scratched wounds inflict endless pain.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, because it hurt you. Alina, from today on I am ready to learn to love you. Can you wait and teach me?"
The sweet words coming out from the charming lips of her most loved ones left Alina fixated. His eyeballs trembled delivering back the clear liquid gliding beautifully on his cheeks. Instinctively a husband, Azam brought his face closer giving a warm kiss on the forehead, both eyes, cheeks and ended up in the mouth of the ranum the wife.
Completely, Alina was aware of Azam's sweet treatment. It was not a dream, nor was it an illusion he had created himself. It is not the imagination that sometimes disturbs his calm. It really caught up with him.
"What did you really say?" asked Alina doubtfully.
Azam nodded confidently with the crescent moon arch present on his handsome face. At that instant Alina's heart was racing. He did not expect that such a time could come so quickly.
"Why would you do that? What about Yasmin? Didn't you love him so much?" alina asked again still could not believe the change of her husband.
Again and again Azam hugged his second wife. He buried his handsome face on the woman's shoulder. Her muffled voice instantly made Alina slightly smile.
"Because I want to learn to love you. I realized I hurt you too deeply. I'm really sorry. Marriage is not a game, but a sacred promise before God."
That's what Azam said invited a little relief in Alina. However, she realized there were questions that her husband had not answered. Let only the time open the truth.
For now Alina wants to enjoy every moment of togetherness with Azam. The man he loved, he confessed his feelings. Azam saw her as a woman and not a sister.
Alina raised both hands and returned a warm embrace of her husband. This moment will continue to be remembered throughout the history of his life. How his loved ones will learn to love him too.
"Allah helps the servant to open his heart. May Mas Azam be able to accept me wholeheartedly and love me for who I am, aamiin," Alina thought later.
...***...
The clock is at half 8 a.m. A bright day greeted the sweet smile of the second wife. Alina woke up with a wonderful night. After performing dawn prayers he hurried to prepare breakfast for his small family.
From earlier both corners of his lips curved indicating his feelings are getting better. Almost 3 months of her household trip with Azam and now things look like they should. The man can accept her as a wife.
Amidst her busy cooking, Alina felt both stocky arms coiled around her slender waist. Instantly he gasped and almost released the spatula in his grasp and turned to the left side to see the husband's head perched on his shoulder.
"Mas," he called out to cause a red hue on both of Alina's cheeks.
She was not used to her husband's new treatment. Usually he can only see the togetherness of Azam and his first wife, Yasmin. However, now that he was in that position made his heart beat very fast.
The heavy voice of the husband led to nervousness in Alina. He tried his hardest to endure the panic as Azam's breath swept across his cheek.
"I-I cook Mas Azam's favorite food," he said.
"really? I can't wait to taste it. Oh well, what about your body is it okay?"
Azam so attentively gave a light massage around Alina's waist. The woman was even more blushing as she recalled the sweet memories they had made last night. After revealing each other's feelings in the living room, they go back to doing bridal night. This time it was not Yasmin's name that came out of the husband's sweet mouth, but Alina.
Complete already the feeling of turmoil within his chest was conveyed with certainty. Azam really saw her as Alina and not Yasmin. Maybe love is beginning to grow? Alina hopes her household with Azam can continue to be fine.
Even though he should be in second place.
"I-I'm fine. I'd better wait at the dinner table to prepare breakfast." Tell Alina to try to escape from her husband's confinement.
He was afraid that his face would get red if he continued to be close to Azam. The man nodded obediently then widened his smile and patted the top of his wife's head slowly.
Alina could breathe a sigh of relief and hurriedly poured her cooking into the dish.
Fried rice concoction Alina presented in front of him. Azam who was impatient immediately ate it after praying first. A second later the two nets widened perfectly when feeling a blend of salty, sweet from soy sauce and also savory from the chicken sauce that was splashed into one in his mouth.
"God is so delicious, dear."
The call of affection slid quickly making his heart seem to stop beating. Alina, who was sitting right in front of Azam, stared for a moment. The hand that was about to put rice into the mouth was floating in the air. Her iris stared directly at the husband's sweet smile.
The blooming flowers in Alina's heart spread the scent of joy forming a crescent moon arch on the ranum's lips.
"A-alhamdulillah, if you like it. I'm glad to hear it," Alina replied after a while had passed.
Azam nodded his head and continued to enjoy his breakfast.
Accompanied by small talk they spend time together at the dinner table. This rare thing makes Alina feel the beauty of marriage. Had to wait months for her to sit and have a warm chat like this with her husband.
Time sometimes gives unexpected surprises, Alina does not expect Azam's treatment yesterday to produce sweet things. No matter if there are tears wasted, in fact there is a smile of happiness that looms.
Alina is grateful to be able to get an ordinary marriage like that. Thanks to Yasmin he can be with the man he loves.
"But, what would happen if Yasmin was discharged from the hospital? Will it come back like before? Ahh, no I hope Mas Azam does not mess with his words. I hope my existence here can be a wife, even though it has to play a double role. O God of servants can only leave everything to You" thought Alina again.
Smiles also adorn the faces of the two who are full of joy.
