CHAPTER 42

"Can.......can we not see each other again?"

"NO!"

Azam instantly stroked with a resolutely slapped slickness in his eyes. Alina was stunned, dumbstruck in disbelief. His irises widened and immediately looked away powerless to look at the honesty of the husband.

The man's chest went up and down with both hands clenched tightly. Azam is sure of his feelings now, if love has emptied into his household life with his second wife. The captain has released the ship at sea ready to hit the storm.

"Why?"

One word was thrown, Alina again looked up showing firmness and hope. Azam is undaunted and continues to struggle to maintain his marriage.

"Because I love you."

Three words that have been awaited have been thrown. Alina's brownish bead is rounded with her heart racing. His blood rippled violently delivering a red hue on both cheeks. The fluffy smile on Azam's handsome face made his defense collapse. He turned back to hold the sparkle in his chest.

Azam stepped closer and rested in front of his wife with his right hand.

"Can I get a second chance?"

Alina who was still looking in the opposite direction looked at her slowly and now faced the husband. He had never seen Azam lower his self-esteem in front of him to ask him back. Can love sometimes make people lose their ego? Thought Alina.

"I want to give you a warm home with our children in it and create family harmony. Do you want Al, to come home with me and live with me again?"

Sweet smile flared to make the figure of Azam more charming, white face decorated with a red hue serya show a row of white teeth. The two beads sparkled with tear dew pooled there. Hope to be given a chance to trigger in the body gesture, Alina again stunned not believe to see it like that.

It had been almost three years that they built a household and only now did he see the earnestness of Azam. Too late, too late. All this time Alina waited to hear and was treated warmly like that, but all she got were tears.

Their household was not originally based on the love of both parties, the compulsion made Alina and Azam united by the sacred bond of marriage. His feelings only clapped one hand and only fought alone to defend everything.

The shadow as Azam treated her warmly flashed back. He realized that at that time the husband only fulfilled the obligation, if in fact the woman who was loved by Azam was only Yasmin. There was no room for Alina to be in his heart.

Tears flowed back, he hurriedly wiped them rough and turned back.

"Come home, Mas mbak Yasmin is waiting for you. Don't be like this, I have to be fair."

"Avil?" continue mind.

Alina stepped back to leave her shop and ignored her husband's words. Azam got up and looked at the little shoulder of the wife with the emptiness of mastering.

"Can't we get back together?" ask again.

Alina who stopped for a while only left a silence without a single word thrown out. After that he completely disappeared in sight.

The liquid was clear, slid rapidly on the cheek and ended up on the wooden floor of the cake shop. Pain when ignored the wife disturbed his calm, Azam realized there were too many wounds incised.

"I'm sorry, Al," she said.

...***...

The clock was showing at ten in the morning, Zara had been back and forth in the superior room waiting for her arrival. It has been a month that he has been doing Azam's work in place of his absence to deal with shareholders and clients.

Last night he told me that someone important would come to the company and need Azam's presence there. However, until now the man's nose was still not visible as well. Many times he looked at the watch on the wrist with anxious expectation.

"I beg you to come" he murmured.

He reached into the phone in the pocket of the blazer to contact Azam, but before that happened the door of the room was opened. Zara was surprised and breathed a sigh of relief at the boss' arrival.

Azam only nodded briefly and walked towards his throne. Zara knitted her brows looking at her appearance that was far from a dignified impression. His shirt collar was not properly folded, his tie loose with a crumpled office coat was not well maintained at all.

Zara drew closer to Azam's table and looked at him.

"What's going on? Why are you dressed like this? I told you last night that there would be someone important coming to the kit-company"

"Is he important to me? Is she no more important than Alina? Is he that important to my life? Can you guarantee he's very important?"

The word "important" is triggered repeatedly inviting a deep meaning. Zara was conscious and astonished at the successive question, her ash-laced bead perfectly rounded with her mouth slightly open. He saw the sadness so vividly there, his hands squeezed firmly on the wooden table in front of him trying to ease the irritation.

"You.......Love that's you to Alina?"

"What looks clear?"

Zara held her head low and rubbed her huffed face.

"Why? Has he not left you? That means he doesn't care anymore."

Azam looked at him fixedly, Zara was stunned when she saw the look of serious eyes staring intently at him.

"He wants to care or not it's none of your business," he said firmly and then moved from sitting and back footed.

"What about Yasmin? Don't you love her so much?"

Azam silently turned his back on Zara with both hands in his pants pocket. The wide strapping shoulders were caught sight delivering a dusty feeling in the chest, Zara could not hold it.

"Yes I love her very much."

"Then, what about how I feel?"

Azam snorted and turned his face to the right without any intention to look at the secretary.

"I don't have any feelings for you, so stop harassing me."

Zara's self-defense collapsed delivering a clear liquid rushing down both cheeks. He cried in silence watching his most beloved figure continue to step away. The feeling that he has long been silent is not easy to forget, he thought he would get the real opportunity not at all.

Until whenever Azam would think of him as a co-worker and friend, nothing more.

The hospital again becomes Azam's destination this time. A month had passed and he had not visited his first wife. Just as both feet were treading on the fifth floor he was noticed by some medical personnel running past him.

Instantly the heartbeat is too fast when their goals are the same as they seem. A flash of Azam ran over and instantly his two large beads were perfectly rounded. In there, Yasmin did not move at all. Medical devices were installed to make fear encroach in themselves.

Azam stepped back limply and almost wavered if no other hand gripped his wrist.

"Hold on, everything's gonna be fine."

The sound of the friend buzzing into strength, a soft clap landed on the right shoulder. He saw Angga walking forward leaving nothing.

"Ya-yasmin," she called nervously.

The hustle and bustle of medics became the most frightening backsound, the sound of a heart detector also adds to the horror. His trembling irises looked at the device with his heart pounding.

"O Allah save the wife of the servant."
