"Don't go, please stay here. Yasmin open your eyes, honey. Don't joke, it's not funny, baby open your eyes. Don't sleep, Yasmin......Yasmin, wake up, honey, I beg you." Azam continued to shake the wife's body that was getting colder, with the sun bathed in their togetherness interrupted by the entanglement of fate.
"You must be kidding me, right? Let's meet Angga and see your progress, aren't those tools no longer needed? You must be healthy again." While chattering indistinctly, Azam carried Yasmin back into the building. Angga who had been waiting for them from earlier was surprised to see the arrival of his friend calling him with a loud tone.
Azam kept telling him to check on Yasmin, inevitably Angga followed his will. When the stethoscope was aimed at the left chest, Yasmin's heartbeat disappeared. Angga raised his head looking fixedly at Azam. The headband was given making the man's defense collapse instantly. He walked over and squatted down right in front of his best friend.
"Yasmin was dead twenty minutes ago, in-"
"LIED!!!"
Shouted Azam in disbelief and then immediately grabbed and gripped his white coat. Angga just kept silent to let what he was about to do. He understands how fragile it is to accept the harsh reality of the death of loved ones. He knew how much Azam had loved Yasmin all along, the fact he had obtained this time must have hit him hard.
"You must be lying, right? Yasmin could not have died, she. Yasmin can't just leave me, you must be lying."
Azam continued to fumble with an increasingly quiet voice. His head continued to bend in hiding the tears. Unrestrained sobs echoed in the hospital room that has been a shelter for months the wife. Memories and shadows of past days revolve in memory, memories of togetherness enjoying time with love are as turbulent as the movie aired yesterday danced beautifully.
There have been many times that have brought happiness and brought Aqeela into the world. The beautiful smile that was present every time on the beautiful face of Yasmin was immediately clearly drawn. Clear liquid continues to thicken the floor of the hospital. Angga who witnessed this felt devastated by the incident to his closest friend.
He also patted Azam's shoulder slowly many times trying to strengthen. Angga knows no one is willing to watch his beloved wife go for ever, especially that person has been in the story of life for a very long time. Now they are in a different world, he hopes the friend can find happiness again with his second wife.
Only silence was shared, some medics also joined in condolences for the passing of Yasmin. Moments later his body was led to an ambulance to be taken home, Azam's cry broke again when he witnessed the peaceful face of the wife for the last time. As if slashed dagger loss loved ones who are not expected to come is now happening as well. Fate never wrong to give a story to every life that is on the map.
A strong wind blew away the pain in the dimness, the originally bright horizon was now dimming with dark clouds gathering into one forming a pitch-black. Slowly the water from the sky fell with Yasmin Zakiyyah. Loss was not only felt by Azam, Angga who was beside him also felt the same way. Because Yasmin's existence was like her own family, now the figure left tears.
...***...
Sarah who was accompanying Aqeela played surprised when she heard the sound of ambulance sirens. The premonition of not wearing even instantly buzzed within his chest. Not long after the hearse entered the yard of the house to deliver helplessness. The figure of Azam who came out to tear down the defense, he believes his intention this time is true.
Moments later the crate was removed from the car, step by step felt heavy Azam tapaki. Her iris also saw Sarah who was holding Aqeela in the doorway, without feeling tears sliding rapidly.
"Master, Madam-"
Yasmin's body was placed in the middle of the house, one by one the mourners, relatives and people who wanted to help came. Azam who had not slept all night looked tangled with a pale face welcoming their arrival. Twenty minutes later, his parents approached and hugged him tightly, they tried to win him over.
"Mamah to defend the condolences, inysaAllah Yasmin was calm there. He's not in pain anymore, let him go, son." The mother said as she rubbed her back slowly.
Azam only nodded skeptically and returned his embrace no less tightly. After that, both of his parents were present and did the same. Yasmin's parents tried hard to let go of the princess, even though they were just as devastated. However, the existence of the family gives Azam the power to let Yasmin go. Because after all God's provisions are the best, he has tried as much as possible to defend, but God's plan no one knows.
The process of bathing the body is being carried out, after which Yasmin was also forgiven for being taken to a pit. One by one the procedure is carried out until the stage of the corpse is placed into the coffin and led to the eater.
Every step then clear liquid slid down the cheeks of each family, Azam who was holding Aqeela was not able to stem the pain. He tried hard not to burden his wife. He tried to be sincere and accept what God had destined for them.
A few minutes later they arrived at the cemetery, Azam immediately gave Aqeela to the mother and jumped into the burrow to bury Yasmin. With a puffy face he tried hard to lift Yasmin's body with others.
"God why you are so thin, goodbye dear, may you be calm there. I'm sure you're not in pain anymore, are you? I hope we can meet again" he thought.
Angga who witnessed firsthand was carried away emotionally, tears never subsided flowing on the cheeks. Seeing the power emanated in the bead of the friend made him pity, some months he was upset by Azam. Because of his actions that had betrayed the second wife, but after finding seriousness in him, he was sure that Azam would be the best husband and father.
"Allah has given Azam strength and strength for Yasmin's departure. And give happiness to him after all this has passed," monologue Angga his gaze was never separated from the figure of the friend.
Hour after hour passed by so quickly, now Yasmin had rested quietly in nature there. Do'a is now being promised, Azam, as a husband feels really lost. Kejdaian that he never expected from a long time ago now comes to him, Yasmin left for eternity leaving memories that he will never forget.
Until then there will always be the most beautiful place for Yasmin in the heart of Azam. The sky was crying with rain falling on the earth. The roar of the sky thumped saying that the passing of a person was not the end of everything. That was the beginning of the real journey.
Allah SWT says in two verses in the Qur'an :
"Say, "Verily the death which ye have fled from, will surely meet you, and then you will be returned to (God), the Knower of the Unseen and the Real, the Real One, then He will tell you what you have done." (QS. Jumu 8)
"Wherever you are, death will find you, even if you are in a high and strong fortress." (QS. An-Nisa :78)
As servants who believe and believe in the last day, we should prepare to return home. Because the direction is not awaited, but picked up. God always gives every servant the opportunity to improve themselves until the appointed time.
