CHAPTER 32

It has been a month since Alina disappeared in the life of an Azam. During that time there were many different things he felt. No more warm smiles welcome him, lost already greetings good morning that every time the wife always lay. There was no more delicious breakfast that he could feel, all disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Emptiness and voidness are getting so strong. Azam did not expect Alina's departure to bring a million warmth that had never been felt before. The clutter and the pain kept lingering brought him to reality.

The clear sky this afternoon is inversely proportional to the blackness. Azam continued to daydream regardless of Yasmin who continued chattering non-stop. The woman who bears as her first wife also frowned in looking at the husband.

There's something different Yasmin felt. He had been in the hospital for almost a month, but he had never seen Alina.

“Mas, Mas, Mas Azam!!” call Yasmin a little hard.

Azam who was still in the daydream was aghast then looked at the wife with a glare.

“Alina? Why has Alina never seen me?” ask Yasmin for a copy.

Azam was surprised and gazed in the other direction avoiding the wife's two eyes. This made Yasmin even more suspicious, there was something her husband had hidden.

“A-alina, Alina di-dia”

“Dia why? Why are you stammering like that? Not as usual, what happened? What's the matter exactly?” Yasmin asked in a row while leaning forward and holding the husband's hand firmly.

Azam was immediately startled and tried to calm Yasmin down to not have too many thoughts. This condition can spur unstable heart rate and is feared to have an impact on the disease.

Azam got up and helped Yasmin lie down and sat down on the edge of the hospital bed. His firm hands cupped the wife's face giving her warmth. His eyes softened with a beautiful curved crescent moon there.

“Nothing happened. All is well, Alina is just a little troubled with her pregnancy. Do you know how the hormones of a pregnant woman? I was afraid that when Alina came to see you, she would cry. Better he stay home.”

A soft sound swept over Yasmin's sense of hearing making her smile weakly. She raised both hands and clasped her husband's fingers.

“Alhamdulillah, if all is well. I'm just worried something happened to you. Because it is not usually Mas daydream.”

Azam again showed a charming smile then ducked giving a warm kiss on the forehead of the wife. As he lifted his head back up, their gazes met each other, interlocking and pouring out pent-up desires.

A second later the union happened. Tears accompanied every touch that had long since disappeared. Memories of moments together in the day are again present along with thrilling episodes. The time they had passed was only the two of them delivering precious memories to Yasmin.

There was not much time left for him in the world. He resigned whenever God called him, only one he wanted, “I want Mas Azam happy. Even though I'm no longer by her side.” Inner Yasmin opened her eyes looking at the handsome face nearby.

There is something he managed to catch, the husband is a little different from the last days, “I hope Mas realizes if love is there for Alina,” his mind again.

Without the two of them noticing, outside the room someone stood watching the tragic drama that was unfolding right in both of his eyes.

Angga, the doctor and friend of Yasmin and Azam were silent. The hand that was about to reach the doorknob stopped in the air when it saw their togetherness. The glass that connects the outside world and the inside shows a big picture of the household life of both.

The sadness just greeted him. He nodded and breathed heavily.

“I understand now, how sick Alina was seeing them together. Go be the best choice for him.”

"Assalamu'alaikum" he said surprisingly.

Sarah who was carrying Aqeela gasped as she looked at the handsome doctor greeting her. He nodded awkwardly as he answered Angga's greeting.

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

"It's Aqeela?" her tanyanya made Sarah just nod.

Instantly Angga approached Aqeela and then looked down to align her height with the baby.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Aqeela. I'm Om Angga, your papa and mama's best friend." Angga said with a big smile while rubbing the top of Aqeela's head made her laugh.

While Sarah only looked at the interaction of the two.

Not long after that Sarah intends to go in greeting her two employers. However, before it happened the doctor first stopped the action to make Sarah look back at Angga did not understand.

The re-remembered goose on inside felt awkward for an instant.

"Le-better you don't go inside. They're enjoying their privacy time."

Sarah who understood just nodded and then retreated to the back of her seat on the chair. He intends to wait and bring the child to his mother.

Angga stared in silence. Sarah reminds him of the woman who is now two-bodied.

"How long has Aqeela not met her mother?" ask Angga back.

"Since Yasmin's mistress was treated, Aqeela has never met her mother again."

"That long?" angga's mind was surprised.

"Have you taken care of it all this time?"

Sarah was silent for a moment before answering the question. At first glance he looked up to see into the brownish bead of the doctor who was standing in front of him.

"I think you already know about the condition of Mr. Azam's family, when there was Alina's mother, Aqeela was always treated by him. But now her second mother had gone out of nowhere."

Angga was pensive to see there was sadness in Sarah. He knows how complicated the journey of the household of the friend. However, he could do nothing and only prayed for the best.

After a short conversation with Sarah, Angga decided to return to his room. The hospital hallway felt long. This one month shadow makes him realize that the struggle of a mother and wife is not easy to do. Moreover, the absence of love from the husband makes the wife have to fight alone for her good and also the prospective baby.

"I believe Alina can find happiness. I wish Azam could realize that Alina loves him so much. I want the best for all of them" Angga's monologue in silence.

It had been a month since he had seen the other side of Alina. The woman who he thought was the third person in his best friend's household, was not an arbitrary woman. Alina is sincere and sincere in loving Azam, even though she knows that her best friend loves Yasmin very much. Alina is just stuck in the passage of time at their wedding.
