With a step in, Alina tried to reach the front door. His feeling was so claustrophobic as invisible hands squeezed his heart strong.
The words of the old man back there still continued to revolve in memory of causing stuffiness in the chest. Unconsciously tears flowed unbearably, like opening old wounds that awakened the past.
Before Alina arrived outside the two-story building, someone blocked her wrists firmly. Without looking, he knew who made him stop.
"Let go" said Alina slowly.
"Darling, listen to me first" the husband pleaded.
Alina did not respond while still turning her back. Zaidan who understood also walked forward and cupped his wife's two shoulders.
"Hey, honey look at me" he said very.
Alina looked down reluctantly at her husband. The heart ached as the shadows a few minutes ago continued to mill around.
"I'll never follow what Grandpa said. I'm also sorry if what Grandpa said offended you. I-"
"It is not good to argue with the words of parents. I'm a little offended, but that's the truth. I'm who? I am not comparable to those of you who have such a great dignity. I'm just a foreigner who's short on things." Alina looked up staring into her husband's chocolate bead.
"I-" Along with that tears flowed unbearably. "I saw last night that Mas had the same photo as Grandpa. Hasn't your match been arranged? Come back to them. Let me back down." Alina wiped the rough tears and walked backwards.
"No Alina .. You are wrong. Last night I just looked at it and wanted to cancel that ridiculous deal. I don't want to do what Grandpa says. Because now I'm married to you, honey." Zaidan tried to explain while continuing to follow his wife.
Alina stopped her steps again, her head turned to the right side looking at Zaidan through the side of the eyeball.
"Why didn't you explain and tell me? Is it doubtful? I'm sure Mas did hesitate, if it was like that it was better to do what Grandpa said. It is better to ... You're not losing anything. I'm just a stranger who suddenly comes into your life. I-"
"ENOUGH ALINA! I told you .. I just love you. I really love you, very much. There is no one but you, dear" said Zaidan stirring and getting slower.
Alina pulled back her head looking down at the small pebbles strewn about.
"Can ... Can I have a minute? I need some time alone."
After saying that Alina actually went from there while carrying Raihan. Zaidan clenched his hands tightly and grabbed his coarse hair.
He went back inside to see all the family members looking at him closely, including Zanna. The wavy black haired woman also smiled broadly revealing her beauty.
He walked straight closer to the grandfather who was sitting on a single sofa while placing both hands on a stick.
"At last you chose to be with Zanna? Good, you are Grandpa's granddaughter. You-"
"Grandfather is wrong, I came here to cancel the ridiculous agreement I made first. The agreement was only done by a labile teenager who only regarded Zanna as a sister, nothing more. There was not the slightest intention in my mind to get married and be with him. So, I hope Grandpa understands .. if the woman I love is only Alina."
"I don't care what people say. Because for me Alina is a good woman I've never met in my life. I appreciate it so much and .. I love her so much."
Instantly the scratches were printed clearly on the right cheek and issued a thick red liquid causing pain. Zaidan grimaced softly with his head still turning to the side.
"Oh my God." Moana was surprised not to think that her in-laws could go too far.
As a mother, Moana could not bear to watch her son alone being treated as such, even with her own grandfather.
Moana approached and immediately grabbed her shoulder and rubbed the child's back to calm down.
"If you don't want to obey what Grandfather said, don't expect you to receive even a penny of the Zulfan family's treasure. Because Grandpa wouldn't have you support that woman using the treasure she's been given."
Zaidan snorted violently while turning his face a glance. "Who do you think that sustenance comes from? I will not lose anything if Grandpa is willing to withdraw the assets that have been given to me. Please, I'd rather lose that treasure than my wife and son. I believe that Allah has arranged the sustenance for every one of His servants."
Zaidan turned to leave before his extended family. Hearing and seeing the granddaughter has changed a lot, Dawas climbed black and stomped sticks to the marble floor.
The sound of a moment's pounding resounded, no one would dare to speak up if the elder was already like that. They do not want to be dragged and lose the treasure that has been obtained so far.
"Dare you leave this house .. You choose to live miserable. What's the point of maintaining a marriage that can only embarrass you? Zaidan, you will regret if you stick with your stance," Dawas said again threateningly.
"I will never regret what I have decided. Thank you for all the kindness Grandpa gave me."
With strong determination and unanimous decision, Zaidan actually left the Zulfan family mansion. Everyone did not believe while whispering slowly to see the increasingly significant change of Dawas.
His jaws were stiffened with teeth grinding against each other. The grip on his cane was getting stronger bringing worry to the other family members.
"He dared to defy my decision? Just watch out I'm sure he won't get a job anywhere." Dawas also looked at Moana and Farraz who was standing stiff not far from his existence.
The first son looked down deeply when he saw a look of nagging at her, while Moana still maintained her stance. Both of the women's hands were clenched, upset over what had just happened.
"You are not raising children. He could have acted that way and humiliated our family. I don't want to know, before Zaidan follows what I'm ordering .. the assets you have now will be temporarily laid off. Also ... Zaidan is the only granddaughter in this family, how could he prefer that woman over Zanna?" annoyed.
After making a long enough tirade, Dawas left them with a million perplexities. Farraz's two younger siblings and his family approached, urging the older brother to advise his son.
"Why should you urge our son? Zaidan has the right to determine his happiness." Moana black rose does not accept if the child must be scapegoated for their benefit.
"I as her birth mother will stand in the front row to protect Zaidan. I'm not gonna let you guys do anything." Moana left, leaving distrust for the other family.
Farraz looked at his two younger siblings and shook his head faintly and followed where the wife was going. Zanna was still standing there watching the scene of the family drama that was so eye-catching.
"Why it's so exciting, I just want to get it" he smirked.
...Seriate......
