Double-role
CHAPTER 28

The night has come to replace the beautiful twilight. Darkness greets accompany silence envelops unrest. After returning home from the hospital, Alina rested herself in the room feeling a little unwell. Maybe because the weather conditions are uncertain, sometimes the rain sometimes hot tertik unpredictable make the condition of his body decreased.

The occasional little angel kicking him made him smile happily. Alina stroked her stomach trying to calm the baby. There is a sense of relief when the presence of the baby treats liver wounds. There have been many tears of pain that have been spilled due to the treatment of the husband. However, all of that seems lost thanks to the existence of prospective children.

Alina never expected to be a mother in this rundown marriage. He thought he would forever pretend to be a wife and mother, assuming the status of a dual role that was never imagined.

Not long after, there was the sound of the front door being broken down. Alina squealed in shock at the same time the thunder came crashing. The sky turned dark with the speck of rain slowly falling.

Pantofel shoes stomping on the floor produce a loud thumping sound. A few moments later, Alina's room door was wide open. He who was lying down jumped in shock and immediately sat on the bed. Both eyes widened to see the arrival of the husband with bad breath.

Highlight eyes firmly stared at him nyalang, Alina frowned brows not understanding and there was a little fear of sideways.

"Ma-mas Azam?" call timid.

Azam who was still in the doorway tried to neutralize his heartbeat. Zara's words this afternoon kept spinning in memory. How could an innocent-looking Alina possibly betray? Azam's mind is fucked. He remembered their conversation in the hospital garden.

"Do you think Alina has another man?"

Azam's question left Zara dumbfounded. Without a second thought the woman nodded convincingly adding to the anxiety. Azam pensively thought about the possibility that happened, how he was now in contact with the second wife.

"Is that why Alina said she wanted to get away from me?"

Now his eyes stared fixedly at Zara's brownish bead. The secretary was again stunned to hear Azam's words. Not long after that, a crescent moon arch appeared on her beautiful face.

"Did Madam Alina always say separate? Chances are only two Masters."

"What's that?" tanya Azam was a little interested.

"One, Madam Alina is trying to really separate with Mister and the second, it could be that madam Alina wants to be with another man. Ahh, is it possible that the baby in the womb belonged to that man? Because I saw that they were very happy and it looks like the man also accompanied Madame Alina to check her contents."

Zara's last words continued to ring in hearing. Azam watched his wife in silence and looked at her stomach. Instantly, his blood boiled, causing him to immediately step wide into Alina.

Whether there was any wind as fast as Azam's lightning clutching Alina's wrist with a flash of anger was evident in his net. Alina's heart beat fast as the painful shadow of the day returned.

"Ma-mas what are you doing? Sa-sick Mas, let go."

Alina tried to let go of Azam's strong hand.

"Answer I'm Alina, where did you go this afternoon?" ask her with a heavy voice.

"I went to the hospital to check the contents, Mas," answered Alina honestly as she looked up to see the series printed on her husband's handsome face.

As soon as he shivered and fear came back.

Hearing the words just now slowly both of Alina's eyes widened with her forehead shrinking deeply. He was shocked and could not believe what Azam said.

"W-What do you mean? Wh-why did Mas say that? Whose baby's father?"

"No need to pretend Alina."

Azam raised his voice and pulled his wife's hand to make Alina flinch forward.

His free left hand pulled Alina's chin until the owner looked up again. Azam brought his face closer to each other with a distance so close. Alina could clearly see the disappointment and also the disbelief there.

Tears seeped out and then flowed on both cheeks. Azam removed it slowly and the grin returned to being present.

"No need to pretend to cry if in fact you hurt me too deeply. You're pregnant with another man, right? That child is not my flesh and blood!!" the stern and clear words of Azam rained down on Alina's deepest feelings.

The wounds he was trying to sew and covered were gaping back in a matter of seconds. An invisible blood flowed profusely out from the newly created wounds. The pain is repeatedly present to deliver the clear keristal flowing endless. Pain, it hurts so much when the husband accuses something that is not basic. As soon as Alina's mind stopped working, her body responded quickly and like a block of ice she fell silent for a while.

Alina continued to cry when she heard every word that came out of her husband's mouth. It was like delivering an invisible dagger to tear his heart deeply.

"If Mas can't think of me as a wife, at least Mas recognizes this child. He's your flesh and blood, Mas. I never hang out with any man. I know the line between a pira and a woman. What do you think of me? I don't trust-"

"LIED!!"

Azam shouted cut quickly Alina's words and threw her away. The man then pointed directly at the wife's face.

"The reason you want to part from me is because of that guy, right? Admit you are Alina. You just want to play this wedding, don't you? You never truly loved me. You just took advantage of Yasmin's circumstances and became my second wife. Honestly, you want my treasure, right?"

Sobs can no longer be contained. Tightness in the chest leads to helplessness. Alina was crying while shaking her head. I didn't think my husband could say that.

"Nobody wants to be second if it's not for a purpose. Why did you take advantage of Yasmin's illness? What do you really want?"

Azam continued to fumble, not clearly delivering wounds after wounds that continued to be scratched in Alina's heart. Both her hands clenched firmly with the unsubstantiated accusation of the husband. He could not tolerate the words of Azam.

"Where can you have such a thought? I sincerely love you. I'm willing to hold back this feeling so that Mas can be happy again with Yasmin. Who wants to be a second wife? But what can I do, Mas? When did Yasmin and Mas Azam ask me to do that? In return for your kindness this is all I can do. However, the reply Mas instead download me a no-no? I'm sick, I'M SICK!!!"

Alina yelled trying to reduce the pain in the chest. The head with the hijab lowered deeply while firmly grasping the bed sheet. Azam looked at how injured the woman who served as his second wife.

His right hand was about to stretch out, but it just stopped in midair. He pulled it back and clenched it tightly. Inside the room were only heartbreaking sobs from Alina. Azam was still staring at his wife.

Tonight their household is on the brink of the abyss. The rain outside adds to the tension. Quarrels that occur cannot be ignored how misunderstandings can trigger disputes. A spark of ignited fire could burn away all distrust.
