Ambush from Enemy

The bonfire was burning in the dark and cold of the night. His tongue danced, as if trying to reach the sky. In a campground, a large tent stood in the middle of several small tents.

In the tent were some soldiers who were asleep. Outside there is someone standing guard. They went around to make sure that no danger would strike them.

Inside the large tent, a young man was sitting while reading a book. His eyes were engrossed in browsing letter by letter, page by page, and sheet by sheet.

The light in his eyes was describing the antuasms. His hands carefully moved the sheets of paper so as not to tear.

But, a moment later, he closed his book after giving a sign on the page of the book he was reading. He got up and got out of his tent.

The young man, Jean, looked up at the night sky. The moon shone brightly, along with countless expanses of stars scattered across the sky. Sometimes it is dim, sometimes it also shines brightly.

His enemy died instantly, without having time to shout and signal to his other companions. Jean immediately searched for them and hunted them all down one by one.

Jean ordered his men on guard to remain in their respective places. Do not panic when an attack comes but also not rash to strike back. The enemy's movements weren't very fast and with the training he provided, Jean was confident his men could defeat the ambushers.

Jean took 100 men with her to comb the forest area. With his detection skill Jean directs his men to kill every ambush they encounter and leave one of them.

That night, Jean manages to kill 99 ambushers and leaves one of them for interrogation.

Different things happened in the camp of the other troops. Not as fortunate as Jean's army was led by competent men, they were led by men who did not understand anything.

Their response was too slow. There were no patrols on guard and everyone was asleep. Therefore, when ambushers came and attacked their camp area, panic broke out everywhere.

Attacks from ambushers did last for a while, but the casualties on the side of the Dublin kingdom were considerable. In total, 200 people were killed when the attack occurred. In the meantime, none of the ambushers was captured or killed.

As Jean put it, this delay made the two kingdoms have a more mature preparation. With the escape of the ambushers, the enemy will know where the Dublin kingdom is and will take the next action.

This ambush would be something that would severely harm the Dublin kingdom in the upcoming battle.
