Preparing for Another Trip

The internal upheaval in Dublin's (former) kingdom as well as the lightning conquest of Bucharest's kingdom have spread to almost the entire western part of the Akkadian continent. At least six months after the two major events happened in quick succession.

The western continent of Akkad consists of many small and medium kingdoms. Including the territories controlled by the dukes and the count. Their reactions vary. But no one thought it was a serious thing.

Yes, you could say that fighting is commonplace. Each region has the ambition to dominate each other. Either it's for stomach reasons or prestige.

In other words, they have gotten used to this. Even if the next target of conquest is them, there is no need to fear. After all, they are much stronger than the (former) government of Dublin. Or at least they are better prepared.

Of course, not everything is like that. The Kingdom of Vilnius. After seeing how the remnants of the Dublin kingdom wiped Bucharest's kingdom off the map in less than two days, the tiny kingdom located east of Bucharest became very wary.

They sought to gather strength by seeking help from their allies. Whether it works or not, it's another matter.

Not only is the kingdom of Vilnius on the coast, some of the kingdoms and dukedoms that occupy the Ural mountains also feel the danger sign of the (former) kingdom of Dublin. So far, no enmity has emanated from them.

In fact, the largest trading company, HuCas, still established good relations with them as the local ruler. But no one knew when the wolf would attack. Getting ready now is better than regretting it later.

The beginning of a new era for the entire Akkadian continent, no, for the whole world has begun. The winds that brought the flames of strife, conflict, hatred, and savagery had been blowing to the west. Ready to burn them at any time.

"Eh, their response was not as I thought. Do they assume that everything that happens is just a joke?"

Jean was sitting at the Dublin palace reading all the information gathered from different countries. Starting from a small paper tear to a full sheet of letters strewn across his desk.

He's not alone. Mar was with him. He sorted and tidied the papers scattered on Jean's desk.

"Sufuku. Are you offended by the way they respond to this fact, sir?"

Instead of being angry, Jean just laughed. He placed the paper in his hand onto the table and leaned his back against the chair he was sitting on.

"offended? Not particularly. Instead, I was grateful that they thought this was all just a joke. To me, it would be better if they let their guard down."

"By the way, Mr. Jean. I think you should immediately establish yourself as a new ruler. The leader's vacuum will make the situation uncontrollable."

What Mar said has a point. It was time for Jean to become the new monarchy. Not only for internal affairs, it is also important for external affairs such as diplomacy and others.

"You're right, Mar. But I want to enjoy the freedom that existed before it was finally tied up by the gold chain."

Mar sighed. Even if Jean became king, he would still be willing. No rule can bind Jean except the one she made herself. Fortunately, Mar understands that Jean has very good self-control. Which in many ways, it makes Jean a very dangerous figure.

"Mar, I'm going on another trip. This time I'm going to the Urals. I want to see for myself what the place is like. I want to see with my own eyes how people survive there, how they interact with each other and so many other things."

Mar breathed again. Kan, Jean's really cool. But in the end, Mar still carries out his duties well. He will be responsible for internal security.

Jean will bring someone with her. Of course, Jean had already gotten to who she had to take with her.

From here on, Jean's adventure to the Ural Mountains has begun.

Eventually the arc of civil war in the kingdom of Dublin and its expansion into the kingdom of Bucharest was completed. Starting the next chapter, I will try to bring Jean on an adventure. Of course with one of his heroin.

I am sure that there are still many plot holes here and there. As this story progresses, I will try to improve it so that the quality of this story is better.
