News of the death of Baron Lombard had spread among the nobility. Everything is so boisterous. The death of a noble is no joke. They are an important part of the Dublin kingdom. If one of them died, then the balance of power that had been formed would change.
But to viscount Lostov, this was a breath of fresh air for him. His threatened position is now recovering. But there's another problem. Rumors have been blowing for a short time. Rumor has it that he planned the death of Baron Lombard.
Now, in his study room, viscount Lostov gathers his confidants as well as his heir, Joan Lostov. His face looked relieved, but at the same time, there were worries looming over him.
"Now, one of our opponents has been eliminated. At least we have room to breathe now. But this problem is not finished. Rumors have spread that I'm the one who killed him."
Viscount Lostov stood up from his seat and went to the window. The worry did not disappear from his face.
"Didn't you say that someone did this for you? Just throw all the blame on him. We can say that the man who killed Baron Lombard was the one who had a grudge against him."
Everyone there agreed. There is no definitive evidence of the involvement of viscount Lostov in the death of Baron Lombard. If anyone suspected this, viscount Lostov could look for a scapegoat to blame. Especially the one who approached him yesterday.
"That's right, father! You are innocent! Let's get the man who killed him caught and let him be executed in public!"
Joan Lostov laughed so loudly as she presented her own idea to her father. Maybe he thought it was a smart idea.
The others laughed too. They think the same way as Joan. Everyone thought that it was a smart idea, but viscount Lostov did not think so. Maybe he could do that when hiring someone else, but he felt that the person who met him yesterday was on a different level.
"Yes, you guys really enjoy moments like this huh? Viscount Lostov, you didn't forget the rest you had to pay for, did you?"
BRUK!
One of the subordinates of viscount Lostov fell down with blood rushing down from his neck. No one realizes this. Some of the knights were surprised as well, yet they quickly brandished their spears and swords to the mysterious person wearing the black robe.
Unfortunately, he was now standing behind Joan with a knife stuck to the boy's neck.
"Mr viscount, I have no interest in your son's life. But if the knights haven't laid down their swords and spears, and you haven't paid the rest, maybe this kid's life is the right price for that."
Viscount Lostov felt overwhelmed by the presence of that person. He can't be reckless. In the end, viscount Lostov ordered his knights to lower their weapons and throw a bag of money at the man.
"Okay, this is fitting. As I promised, Baron Lombard has died in an accident. For the rumors to spread, well, that's your business. So, just clean up the rest."
The person goes to another window that looks straight out. Then jump. The knights were directly trying to chase after him. Viscount Lostov also wanted to keep an eye on him but that person had already disappeared.
In his heart he screamed like that, looking at his beloved son who was pissed in his pants.

"Welcome, Jean. Please, here's the drink."
Jean arrived at his base when night had come. Thankfully, the full moon makes the lighting conditions somewhat brighter. But the effect given remains gripping.
"Thank you, Mar. As always, the fruit water you make is delicious."
Mar is the same age as Jean. He finds Mar while the boy is being stalked by some market thugs. Jean who happened to see it instantly knocked off their teeth and broke their hands.
Mar's androgynous appearance really confused Jean about her gender. But it doesn't matter, does it? All he needs from Mar is his skills. And the one who helped Jean with the murder was Mar.
"Mar, take this. I've already taken 10 gold coins for myself. There are still a lot of gold coins in there. Use it to buy other children's needs. I leave that to you."
Mar nodded. He took the bag of money and kept it under the robe he was wearing. For Jean, Mar is a multi-talented person. But the ability that Jean needs most is the charade and Mar's ability to manage finances.
"Ah I forgot, have you spread the rumors that I requested in the night world?"
"I've been. As soon as Mr. Jean confirmed the death of Baron Lombard, I immediately spread the rumor to the women who worked in brothels. And today, most likely many have heard the news of the bird."
Jean nodded in satisfaction. But Mar hesitated. Is it okay to do something like that? What if the investigation is conducted and it's revealed that the culprit is Jean?
The rumour is that viscount Lostov was the real mastermind behind the death of Baron Lombard.
"There's no problem Mar. Viscount Lostov will do everything in his power to cover up his involvement. As long as viscount Lostov does just that, we will be fine.
"Unless the man foolishly admits his actions, then we will be desperate."
Jean stands. He tells Mar that he must return soon or that Uncle Hull will be worried. His business with Viscount Lostov is done. Now, Jean just moves on to the next plan.
