The Last Breath's

The shaking that occurred on the ship was followed by another sound. Jean could clearly hear screams and anger from the deck. The clinking of the sword, the flying arrows, and the sound of the command from out of who, all clearly rang out in Jean's ears.

While inside the belly of the ship, panic struck. Some of the crew and passengers fell while holding their stomachs. It was as if they were fighting against something painful in their bodies.

Jean's eyes were closed again. His sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste is very sharp. No, this had nothing to do with the pure energy he absorbed from nature. It is purely his physical strength.

Jean got up at first. But hearing the sound of hurried footsteps coming into the room where she lived, Jean undoes her intentions.

At that moment, the door of his room was broken. Jean immediately raised her hand while putting on a panicked expression and gesture. Seven people entered his room while carrying long spears. They are the ones who should be in this place.

Without saying anything, one of them approached the frightened Jean, grabbed her by the collar, and punched her in the stomach hard. Blood spewed from Jean's mouth and she was knocked unconscious.

"We don't have much time! Quickly grab all the valuables that this child has stored! After that, we will join the others immediately!"

The man who had knocked Jean unconscious ordered his partner to take Jean's belongings. Well, unbeknownst to Jean, they've secretly seen Jean's luggage. Despite the young man's quite tangled appearance, he carried precious items inside his leather bag.

From the beginning, they had wanted to take it. But that would raise suspicion. So, everyone decided to snatch all of Jean's luggage when the time came. And this is the time.

"Boss, what should we do with this kid?"

The man who had hit Jean thought for a moment. Stiffened in his mind to throw him into the sea. That way everything becomes easier. I don't know why he couldn't do that. Therefore, he decides to take the unconscious Jean along with the other hostages.

"Bring him with the others. Despite his disheveled appearance, his body was quite strong. We can sell them as slaves at a pretty high price."

They seem to agree. One of them picked up Jean and took her away. Others took the contents of Jean's bag, which consisted of a bag with many gold coins, a dagger that looked very expensive, and others.

"Damn."

The battle continues. Captain Beard vigorously put up a fight against the pirates who were trying to take over his ship. He even managed to kill over 30 people with his own hands. There is no denying that Captain Beard is a veteran.

However, no matter how strong and persistent the resistance they gave, the captain of Beard and his crew were outnumbered. He could have gotten help from the rest of the crew, but Captain Beard realized that they had been disabled. I don't know by whom.

Captain Beard nimbly dodged all the spear thrusts, sword slashes, and arrow shots aimed at him. Even in his old age, he managed to tear down 15 others after killing 30 pirates before.

But the piercing pain felt in his chest. As soon as he looked at where the pain came from, he saw that his chest had been hollowed out and was pouring blood profusely. At once, his mouth spewed out a lot of blood and he collapsed onto the floor of the ship.

Before his eyes were closed for good, he saw a large man with dark skin, wearing a dull, torn shirt here and there, as well as his bald head and a large scratch on his face.

Beard knows who he is. A very terrible pirate, the leader of the group that attacked his fleet. Before his death, a sense of regret arose in him. The passengers and crew will have difficult days. But no matter what, there was nothing he could do with it.

Not long after, Captain Beard let out his last breath.
