The sound of swords clashing filled the courtyard of Alija's grandmother's house. Surprisingly, no one was bothered by it. No, no one even realized that the fight between Haroon and the mysterious maid was going on.

Haroon. Despite his strength, he did not expect that the mysterious maid could surpass him in close combat. So far, the only person who could survive when Haroon fought seriously was Hendryk.

Haroon was not weak at all. Instead, he was one of the strongest in the central part of the Akkadian continent. If Henryk and Alija were typical warriors and Mages who defeated their enemies on the battlefield, Haroon was the one who worked deep in the enemy's backline.

He infiltrated the opposing camp, wreaking havoc, killing as many off-guard enemies as possible, destroying the logistical supplies the enemy had, then disappeared.

He has also defeated many other great fighters. But he did not expect that he could be pushed by this maid!

Haroon uses his magic to mess with the maid and uses his above-average physical abilities to counterattack. But the maid was completely uninterrupted. Even the attacks that Haroon received were getting fiercer.

A bolt of lightning appeared in Haroon's hand. He threw the bolt towards the maid with incredible accuracy. But the maid casually brushed off the electric bolt with her bare hands, making the bolt change direction and explode when it touched the tree and the ground.

The mysterious Maid retaliates against Haroon's attack with the same technique. Unfortunately, which one he poured out was much more. The electric bolt he produced was much stronger than Haroon's. As a result, Haroon who tried to avoid still exposed the attack, making quite severe injuries to his body.

'I must retreat and report this to Count Lesko!'

Rounding out his resolve, Haroon created an opportunity to escape. It was a fight he could not win. Extending this matter would not bring any benefit to him.

Unfortunately, that opportunity will never come. In his attempt to find a crack and escape, Haroon felt a pain stabbing into his chest.

As soon as Haroon noticed it, a sword had pierced through his chest and tore his heart out. Blood was rushing from his chest. Not long after, Haroon lost his consciousness. For eternity.

Jean chuckles at Haroon's lifeless body. He kicked the body lightly before burning it down without any residue. He also did this to another corpse.

"Ah, but when you kill Haroon, it means you reduce the fighting capacity of this kingdom. Doesn't it matter?"

Jean looked at the maid. He did not show any expression as his face was covered by a mask. Jean just laughed and continued her work.

"Tomorrow, count Lesko will surely run amok and urge the royal party and the family of Duke Cetner to conduct an investigation regarding Haroon and his missing men. Well, stupid, that's her risk."

After burning all the bodies, Jean cleaned up the remains of the battle. No traces of battle. There were no traces of magic, blood spots, and everything else. There's no commotion whatsoever going on here.

Jean returns to Alija's grandmother's house while the mysterious maid girl disappears from sight. Tomorrow will be bright, Jean can't wait for the commotion that will happen tomorrow. He likes commotion!

***

Jean's guess didn't miss. When count Lesko realizes that Haroon has not returned, he climbs a black hole. He told his other men to search for Haroon's whereabouts and all his subordinates.

Failing to find any trace of Haroon, Count Lesko enlists the help of Duke Cetner and urges the royal family to investigate Haroon's whereabouts. Whether it was Duke Cetner or the royal family could not underestimate this. Haroon was one of the best military assets the kingdom had.

The disappearance of Haroon would make the military capabilities of the kingdom of Warsaw decrease. Moreover, if the kingdom and other power entities knew of this, they would definitely take advantage of this gap to weaken the influence of the Warsaw kingdom in the central region of the Akkadian continent.

The Kingdom of Warsaw and the entire central part of the Akkadian continent were on the brink of upheaval.
