Hunting is going well. Most children of Nobles and wealthy merchants gathered in the evening to celebrate their success. Well, it's not really their success either. Most of them brought in professional hunters so it was by no means their own work. They just claim it.

Jean sees several children approaching Charlotte, Natasha, and Selena. They performed their best to capture the hearts of the three. To be honest, the most vulnerable here is Selena. He's just a servant, which means commoner. The nobles could force themselves to come with them. Thankfully, Charlotte and Natasha are trying to protect herself.

Jean herself is in a meditative position. He closed his eyes, gleamed his legs, and slapped his hands.

By the teaching of Svetlana, Jean knew the way to grow stronger. Breathing exercises that he had been living made himself feel united with nature. That way, he could feel the pure energy released by nature.

Not only was she sensed, Jean also had to fuse the pure energy of nature with her. Jean had already reached the stage where not only did she fuse together, she had been able to manipulate quite a bit of natural energy. However, Jean had never used it in a fight.

"Jean, you're not eating? Come on, they're burning your quarry there."

Charlotte's coming for Jean. His face was still slightly flushed due to the incident earlier. The newly opened Jean immediately pulled Charlotte in and placed the pink-haired girl on her lap.

"I'm not so comfortable joining. I'll keep an eye on you from here. By the way Charl, want to come eat with me? I've been cooking for my own rations."

Jean pointed to a small cauldron hanging on the wood. Fire raged beneath him. There could be a boiling sound from the small cauldron.

"Jean... is it okay that you hold me like this?"

"Hmmm? Does Charl mind?"

"N-no! Better, i....."

Charlotte felt a strong embrace from Jean. Ah, it's warm. Even in this cold forest, Charlotte did not need a bonfire. Enough with Jean's embrace.

"All right, let's eat Charl first. Looks like my cooking is ripe."

Charlotte puffed her cheeks. He wanted to stay on Jean's thigh longer. He wants Jean to call him with the beloved call 'Charl' rather than 'miss'.

"Have it, don't be so moody like that, Miss Charlotte. I'll make time for you later. Now, let's eat first."

The smell of smell is on Charlotte's nose. Jean came with a small cauldron filled with her cooking. It was the soup he cooked from the thigh part of the bird that Jean shot with the arrow.

"It's delicious! Jean, you are amazing! Wish I could eat this good every day."

At a glance, Jean glanced at Selena and Natasha who were having fun. They were kidding. Well, girl chat. There's nothing to worry about.

After the food runs out, Jean is in charge of cleaning things up. After weaving, he looked at the sky. Slowly, the full moon that had shone brightly enough began to be covered by the blackness of the night. The howling of the wolf sounded from the distance.

"Miss Charlotte, it's time to go to bed. Please return to your camp and Miss Natasha. I'll keep watch with the knights tonight."

"Eh, you're not sleeping? Aren't you exhausted?"

Jean just shook her head. Hunting like that wasn't enough to drain his energy. Charlotte reluctantly goes to her tent which is where women gather.

The sound of burning wood filled the forest. Although Jean said that she would keep watch with the knights, she did not join them. Instead of patrolling seriously, they were just drinking and getting drunk as if nothing bad was going to happen.

But Jean couldn't let her off guard. This is not a warm and quiet house. This was a wild and cruel forest. If you let your guard down a bit, there are only two options. Died eaten by predators or killed by bandits.

"Oi boy, this isn't a playground! Sleep and let us stay here!"

A knight approached Jean and said that. Jean just looked at the Knight coldly. The knight could have said that when drunk.

Actually instead of keeping watch, the knights were actually just interfering with sleep. They laughed, screamed, and laughed again.

Suddenly, the crackling of twigs sounded from outside the camp area. While the knights were still laughing and shouting drunk, Jean had already taken her spear. Just then, a horde of wild boars that numbered six and large came attacking the camp area.

The unprepared knights immediately fled. A few others who were unlucky were hit by boar ramming and trampled. Not dead, but there is no hope. Soon they will die.

Caring demon. His only job is to protect Charlotte, Natasha, and Selena. With strength far exceeding that of an adult, Jean throws her spear at the pigs and kills one of them.

The pigs were whining. The direction of those who had been to the camp where the children were sleeping changed immediately and targeted Jean. He smiled wickedly. It had been a long time since he had stopped hunting.

Jean grabbed her sword that was slung against the tree. Soon, a close combat occurred. It was something unreasonable to fight against them at close range. But Jean didn't care. He just went ahead and hit the pigs. His sword tore through their stomachs, necks, and chests. A few minutes later, all the pigs died.

The knights breathed a sigh of relief. They think the problem is solved. But they did not know that there was a much more dangerous problem than the pigs were stalking them.
