The One That Will Come

Viscount Lostov attempted to defuse his anger. All the arguments Jean throws at her make her lose her cool. He underestimated the boy.

"Alright, Mr. Jean. Let's move on to the next speaker. But before that, I want to give you some information."

Viscount Lostov gave some information to Jean. He tried to sort out so as not to give vital information to a boy.

"The Kingdom of Dublin intends to wage war with the two kingdoms of the south."

To the south, the kingdom of Dublin is bordered by two other small kingdoms. The Kingdom of Vilnius and the kingdom of Bucharest. Both of these kingdoms controlled the port and sea which became a busy trade route.

Jean understood the direction of Viscount Lostov's conversation. He intends to make Jean and HuCas a source of funding for the war that will happen in plain sight.

"Therefore, I want the cooperation between the Lostovs and you who represent HuCas. I believe the kingdom of Dublin will win this war and you and I will have a higher status and honor!!"

Looking at the fiery Viscount Lostov, Jean held back her laughter as much as possible. He really wanted a higher status huh?

Viscount Lostov who was aware of his behavior immediately cleared his throat and tried to restore his arrival. He desperately tried to hide his intentions but he was not that skilled.

"I'm sorry, Viscount Lostov. I have to discuss this with Charlotte first. In any case, HuCas was basically completely Charlotte's and I was only tasked with managing it.

"Therefore, all important decisions should be discussed together with him. I can't determine it unilaterally."

Viscount Lostov looked disappointed. But Jean didn't care about her reaction. Jean is ambitious, but she is not blinded by her own ambitions. Jean is a rational and calculative person.

If it turns out that supporting and providing assistance does not bring any benefits to her, why should Jean cooperate with Viscount Lostov?

After that, Jean did not speak much more to viscount Lostov. He did not want to linger in this place. Jean wants to go home and meet her two sweet girls.

Their conversation was finally over when the sun had sunk in the western horizon. Before leaving, Jean has dinner with the Lostovs. Natasha who is at dinner steals a look at Jean, regardless of her sitting next to her fiance, Hansen Baldric.

Unfortunately, there was one empty seat. It was the seat of Joan Lostov who died in the tragedy of the attack on slaves. Don't be sad. After all, Joan's death and life won't bring her anything.

Before leaving, Jean beckons Natasha.

'I'll come to your room again tonight, Natasha.'

More or less that's the signal. Natasha looks so happy. Her beautiful smile bloomed on her face, making Hansen Baldric instantly burn flames of jealousy. He never had a smile like that! Just natural. Hansen was an arrogant, spoiled, and abusive boy. Including to Natasha.

As soon as Jean came out, she took her horse which she had placed in Viscount Lostov's stables and directly drove it outside the Northern area.

Jean immediately whistled outside the northern area and out came ten people dressed in black from behind the building. Jean gave instructions to them and ordered them to carry them out immediately.

'Soon the storm will come. The sky became darker without the sun and people would be overwhelmed with fear. I wonder where I will be?'

Jean pondered about it as she drove her horse towards her home.

So let time answer Jean's question.
