Hanna's Determination

The same night Bishop Tolek received a letter.....

There is one bar in Krakov City that is open all day. Even when the city is beset by anxiety, or when they lack staff, the bar remains open for 24 hours.

This bar was where the knights gathered. In the morning and during the day, they did not have much time to relax. Inevitably, they have to sacrifice their rest if they want to drink or just enjoy a song sung by an amateur singer.

A girl wearing a hood was sitting in front of a table that separated her from the bartender. Every time he finished the drink in his glass, he asked for more. It continued until he himself had finished off three bottles of alcohol.

"Add again!!"

He seems to have a high immunity to alcohol. However, he was already a little drunk.

"Even though you have the immunity not to get drunk, drinking too much alcohol at one time is not good for your kidneys."

Who knows, a man sitting next to her suddenly said that. Of course, it makes the woman emotional. But he decided not to serve it.

"Whatever. But I'm sure your best friend will be disappointed when..... Ah, naw. Forget what I want to say."

The woman just snorted and dropped her head on the table. It was only when the bartender came in with a new bottle of drink that his head was raised again.

"Please, this is for you, Miss Hanna."

Of course, that woman's name is Hanna. And maybe as you think, he spent time in this bar getting drunk. The loss of Karina left her still very hard hit until now.

Regardless of the surrounding atmosphere, Hanna continued to drink and drink. His face was red. Even the old bartender who served him only shook his head. It's not usual for Hanna to behave like this.

"They're.... How does it matter to Karina's fate right!? He and I are the same! We are just a tool to rise to a higher status!"

Hanna started to slack off with a loud voice. He caught the attention of others! Or so it should be. Surprisingly, people seem to be uninterested in Hanna and continue their activities.

He keeps babbling. Complaining of her crummy and weak self that she can only remain silent when her family makes her nothing more than a tool. The love he had received all this time felt empty and empty.

Huh uh? Hanna turned her head towards the mysterious man who was now smiling coldly. Killed you said? Isn't it clear that Karina's cause of death was being attacked by monsters?

As if he could understand what he was thinking, the man answered the question that hung in Hanna's mind.

"Maybe you didn't notice, miss. But based on the investigation of Ms. Karina's wound, I can confirm that it was caused by a human. As you know, regardless of how dangerous the frontier forest was, they did not have any humanoid monster species that possessed intelligence.

"No scratch marks or bites. The wound that was on his body was clearly a sword incision. That is, someone intentionally killed Miss Karina when she parted with you."

This time Hanna really could not ignore this man. He turned towards her in wrath and gripped her collar. The commotion almost broke out but the people here were focused on their respective busyness.

"Who exactly are you, asshole!!? Came to me suddenly and spoke as if you knew everything!!"

The man was bothered by the smell of alcohol coming out of Hanna's mouth. But he rebelled. He allowed Hanna to stay clutching his collar.

"Who I am is not that important to you, Miss Hanna. What is clear, I have the authority to access the secret records that the knight headquarters in the capital have. Including the notes you made."

Hanna was bluffing her teeth. He can't think straight yet. If anyone claims to be able to reveal the mastermind behind Karina's death, he will be working with that person. No matter who it is.

"All right! Tell me what I have to do!"

The man smirked and took out a piece of paper containing a list of names. He gave it to Hanna.

"They are key witnesses. Go and get a testimony from them. That way, you'll find the answer."

Hanna put the paper down. The man got up and left the bar. Hanna picked it up and read it and then was stunned. He knows the people who are on that list.

Hanna's determination is round. If what the man said was true, then he would bring justice to Karina. He will send those involved to hell.
