The Siege Of Nebelhorn City

Goln's estimate is on target. The next day, when afternoon came, the army led by Count Feldberg had reached outside the walls of Nebelhorn. Instead of resting, they immediately launched an attack.

Somehow the story goes, they were able to get a large catapult used to hit the wall with a large stone throw. They even have three. It was not a cheap price considering the complicated and expensive manufacturing process.

The defenders and the attacking forces clashed with each other. The defenders tried to burn the catapult that the enemy used with arrows whose eyes had been burned by the fire. While his opponent tried to protect him by shooting a counter arrow.

The stairs stood and leaned against the wall. The invading troops climbed one by one the stairs under intense arrow shots. One by one the hit soldiers instantly fell to the ground. Even if they didn't die from the arrow attack, they would have died from falling from a height.

"I didn't expect Duke Eisen's army to be more persistent than we thought."

"Yes, you're right. Although most of them were militias recruited from the townspeople, the resistance they gave was quite strong."

Two wolf-masked men who were each black and white and wearing shabby robes stood in the distance, as far away from the battlefield as possible. Therefore, they stand on a tree that is high enough for a wider range of vision.

"Well, this is because that stupid count asked for instant results. The morale of the troops had indeed increased but physical exhaustion was haunting them. If he had been a little more patient, Nebelhorn City might have fallen out earlier."

Hearing the complaints from the masked man of the white wolf, his comrade chuckled. It was already visible even though he was wearing a black wolf mask.

"You want how else, right? We expect nothing from him. If it wasn't for his 'dear' demands, I wouldn't be willing to work under that moron."

Both of them breathe. They have the same complaint. An incompetent superior was a disaster for his subordinates. How appalling. Also sucks.

"Why do you think Duke Eisen's men put up such a great fight? How long will it take for Count Feldberg's men to march into the city?"

Hearing the question from his white wolf masked colleague, he thought for a moment. He himself was confused. It's kind of weird. However, there were two things he thought about.

"There are usually two things. First because of the reward promised to them and second because of the punishment that might befall them. However, given Duke Eisen's temperament, it must have been because of the latter."

His guess is pretty accurate. In fact, Duke Eisen had threatened the men who were the heads of the families that he would execute their entire families if the men recruited as militias were to flee.

"I think you're right. Do you remember when our leaders said that good leaders are those who can use 'sticks' and 'carrots' at the right time and situation? Duke Eisen used too many 'sticks'. In the end, he was nothing more than a lucky bastard who happened to be in charge. So is Count Feldberg."

"You, you're right. Only 'he' is the only one fit to be a ruler."

"And therefore, our presence here is to smooth the way."

Both of them laughed. Their reserves were again diverted to the flow of war. The resistance from Duke Eisen's forces had weakened and Count Feldberg's army had started to have the upper hand. The time has come.

Back to the battlefield......

For their efforts, the rebels under the leadership of Count Feldberg managed to squeeze into Nebelhorn City after one part of the wall was broken down.

The rebels did not stop. Once they managed to enter the city, chaos ensued. They destroyed the houses that were there. Their doors were smashed and all the items inside the house were hacked.

Not only loot, they also***a the women they meet. While the men, whether they were children and masters, would instantly kill them.

Nebelhorn City had fallen at night that day. The whole city was devoured by the red man, along with the cries of innocent residents for anything.

BUAKKKKK!!

BUAGHHH!!

BRUKKKK!!

In Duke Eisen's castle, Count Feldberg is preoccupied with beating up his political opponent, Duke Eisen. The man who was originally a ruler was now bound by chains on a chair.

Many bruises appeared on his body. His face was battered. From then on he screamed in pain. As Count Feldberg chastised him, Duke Eisen condemned all out this shameless former subordinate of his.

Of course Count Feldberg was angry. Yet he was able to vent all his malice and anger at Duke Eisen. His pleasure to play others' lives was basically not so different from Duke Eisen's. Merely, he did not have much of a chance to vent it.

But today is different. He has won. Count Dan Feldberg will be the new ruler of this land. Everything will be under his feet. Anyone who opposes it will get nothing but suffering.

"See Eisen! I have won! From today on, everything on this land will be my power. Nothing can stand in my way anymore! Even if it's you!"

Laughter comes out of Count Dan Feldberg's mouth. While Duke Brandon Eisen gritted his teeth. His body trembled with wrath and hate.

"Fuck! That bastard! That bastard! That bastard! You shameless Feldberg!"

BRRUAAAGH!!

Count Feldberg gave another kick as a reward to Duke Eisen for what he had said. After that, he threw spit into the rigid body of the lifeless Goln.

He had just wanted to torture Duke Eisen again when one of his subordinates approached him in a hurry. His face was pale and very panicked. With a sour face, Count Feldberg asked what had really happened.

"The Dublin government forces have occupied the city of Feldberg! They're over 5000 people!"

This news left Count Feldberg and Duke Eisen almost dead in shock.
