First Job (1)

The capital of Warsaw, Krakov.

A magnificent palace stood upright on top of a hill. Around it there are four towers with taper-built ends. This huge palace even spent a third of the capital's area. Around it, there is a magnificent housing complex that became the residence of the nobles.

Jean walked into the area. It's been two weeks since he arrived in town. Thanks to the network provided by her grandmother and the grandfather who housed her, Jean gets a pretty decent job.

Ah, by the way, the names of the grandmothers and grandfathers who housed them were Alija's grandmother and Henry's grandfather. As it turns out, Alija's grandmother was a palace witch and her husband was a palace knight, at least long ago.

Entering the age of 60, the two decided to retreat and live in a beautiful suburb. Even after her resignation, Alija's grandmother and Henry's grandfather still earned a fairly respectable place in the royal family.

"There was a nobleman who was looking for a tutor for his son. Can you read and write? What if I try to get to his place?"

That's what Henryk's grandfather said when Jean asked him if there was a job he could get. A prominent noble in this kingdom was looking for a suitable mentor for his daughter. On the recommendation of Henryk, Jean seized this opportunity to try.

"Stop right there!! Who are you and what's your purpose here!?"

Jean was stopped by three fully clothed knights right in front of the gate where the nobles lived. Casually, he raised his hand, proving that he was completely unarmed and had no ill intentions whatsoever.

"I heard that his Highness Count Lesko was looking for a teacher for his daughter. I want to fill that position."

Without hearing what Jean said, the knights ransacked Jean's body. Including weapons and money that they might be able to snatch.

"Curtain! Shit, can't get anything..... You wait here! Don't you dare to step in any way without orders from us!!"

The knights did not give any clues regarding the count Lesko house. They just said that Jean had been waiting for him at his residence. But it was not difficult for Jean to look for him because Henry had given some clues.

"Well, this is the mansion where the Lesko family lived? Its size even exceeded that of Duke Cassilas' residence in its own territory. As expected of one of the largest kingdoms in central Akkad."

Count Lesko's house stood on a large piece of land. The mansion is made from the finest natural stone and carved by the finest sculpting artists. This mansion became one of the striking in this area.

Jean saw a male servant whose hair had turned white standing in front of the mansion's main door. Elegantly, the old man walked up to her while watching Jean thoroughly.

'This man is strong.' that's what Jean had in mind. It wasn't hard to measure the old man's strength with the abilities that Jean had now but he decided not to.

"Are you the person the knights meant? If so, come with me. Your Excellency Count Lesko has kindly waited for you."

The tone the old man used when talking to him was neutral, but Jean could easily hear there was a sense of thinness and disdain behind it. Well, no problem.

Calmly, Jean and the old man stepped into the house. Of course count Lesko would not carelessly choose a tutor for his son. Jean will definitely pass a heavy selection. But regardless of that, who he has been. Everything is at stake here.

"Wait here and don't move until I tell you to."

The cold. Jean held a laugh in her heart. All right, time for the exam.
