Terror Again (1)

For no apparent reason, Jean who was still carrying Elyse and Elsie on her shoulders suddenly made a strange move as if she was avoiding something.

Elyse and Elsie who were sitting on Jean's shoulders were confused. However, they soon learn of Jean's intentions when an arrow shot from the sky strikes Jean's feet.

The arrow is like a signal. As soon as he touched and stuck on the ground, hundreds of other arrows flew over the sky. Some people are aware of it, but many more are not.

In the end, the people who were in the crowd became the victims of the attack. Or that's what's supposed to happen. At least before Jean intervened.

"Elyse, Elsie, use wind magic to ward off those arrows."

The twins then raised both their hands towards the arrows and cast the same two sorceries.

The spell they cast made a strong wind hit the hundreds of arrows and ruffled its firing trajectory. As a result, no arrow could reach its target.

Panic arose in the crowd. Although their lives were saved thanks to the magic used by Elyse and Elsie, there was no guarantee their souls were safe.

The people gathered in the square immediately saved themselves. No one is coordinating. Also, no one directs them. Many people fell and were trampled by a sea of panicked people.

Jean turned to look at the priestess Gizela. That girl too. The look they meet. As if understanding what they were thinking, Jean and Gizela nodded and began to move.

Gizela and the 15 knight orders guarding her immediately calmed the panicked population. They're evacuating people to safer places. Meanwhile, Jean and her sisters focus on fending off hundreds of arrows that keep coming like rain.

Again, for no apparent reason, Jean jumped back quietly as if avoiding something. Elyse and Elsie were shocked. But a moment later, someone jumped from above and slashed his sword vertically towards Jean.

Fumble. The sword he was holding hit the ground. Just then, Jean gently kicked the person in the head. To the man, his head immediately exploded as soon as Jean's foot touched his head.

'Weakness. Regardless of his cultivation level that came from the 1st rank [Sky Realm] stage, he was weak'.

Apparently, Jean had to change her standards and view of a strong definition based on this world standard. Yeah, but he can do that later.

This was the first time Jean had spoken to Gizela apart from the gazes that met each other earlier. Without saying much, Gizela immediately held Elyse and Elsie and signaled 'Quiet, I'll protect them'.

After that, Gizela and her 15 bodyguards left. The evacuation is complete. Now, there were only Jean and dozens of enemies surrounding him from all directions. They were all hiding behind the ruins of an unrepaired building.

Now, it's time to have some fun.

At the knight headquarters, Jeanne who had returned to duty with Hanna got the information that a group of [Cult Of Savior] members were back to attack the capital.

Together with Hanna, they brought two full squads to finish them off. But this time, Szymon Krzys who had recovered from his strange illness also came along. He also brought a squad with him.

His haughty gaze made Jeanne and Hanna sick. But Jeanne herself decided not to care for him. Meanwhile, Hanna is seen to hold a deep grudge against Szymon. For unknown reasons.

They all hurry. Unfortunately, they are late. More than 65 bodies have been scattered on the city streets. In the middle of it, a young man sat on a pile of corpses, as if he had been waiting for them to arrive. As soon as he saw Jeanne coming, the young man let out his smile.
