Jean's Intentions

King Andrew never thought about what he saw. In the middle of the harsh and cruel south region, stood a huge castle that was extremely beautiful. The castle stands firmly on a rocky hill, which at the same time becomes a natural fortress for the castle. It would take a very difficult effort for the enemy if they wanted to seize the building.

There is only one entrance to the castle. The road passed through a narrow forested crack filled with ferocious magic beasts and groups of extremely dangerous monsters. That was why, even without guards, this castle would still be a very difficult area to conquer.

Arriving at the door of the castle, Jean took the royal family to a large hall. How shocked King Andrew was when he saw all his remaining supporters were there. he was the first son and heir of the Ankwicz family, Peter Ankwicz.

All the king's supporters knelt before the royal family. Their eyes are full of hope. Their determination ignites in order to avenge the duke Cetner and his supporters who have conquered their territory and confiscated all the assets contained therein. Even some noble families were taken hostage.

"Your Majesty, we are ready to put all that we have into restoring your glory and good name! Let's take back what's ours and destroy the Cetner family and its supporters!"

peter Ankwicz's voice represents the voice of another noble. They don't have much left. If they submit and obey the Cetners, it is certain that their surnames and honor will be stripped away. Even if they were left alive though, it would obviously be the greatest humiliation for them.

Seeing the very strong determination of his supporters made the spirit of the king return. It dawned on him that he and his followers had not yet lost and with an act of resistance, things could turn around.

"Bless your heads, O loyal followers. We have not lost and will never lose. We will avenge what they have done and restore our glory!"

The king's cry made all the nobles who were inside the hall cheer. The opportunity that was originally tightly closed is now wide open. Jean who was there smiled, perhaps getting a little carried away by the nobles who were inside the hall. Not wanting to disturb the atmosphere, Jean ultimately decides to leave them and go to the part of the castle where she lives.

In the middle of his journey, the servant himself walked beside him. That was because there was something he wanted to ask.

What his servant said made sense. The act of Jean setting up a castle without the permission of the authorities concerned is a very illegal act. It would even be considered a territorial offence given that Jean was a nobleman from another country.

Jean smiled faintly and shrugged her shoulders.

"You know, once duke Cetner conquers the capital, the game is over. The scenario that will happen is they will finish off the royal family and its followers. Even if they survived, there was nothing they could do but hide in the rat hole, doing nothing.

"But at this time the situation changed. The royal family and his followers survived, even gathering new troops to counterattack. The conflict grew longer and the two most influential powers in the kingdom of Warsaw slowly weakened.

"You think with such an explanation, am I sincerely helping the kingdom?"

Behind his white mask, the servant smiled bitterly. Jean's intentions are pretty clear. Prolong the conflict until both sides are tired and then give a crushing blow and take huge advantage of two parties who are already helpless.

But what is he really planning? Why did he struggle to get involved in the conflict? What did he want from the fall of the Warsaw Empire? Does he intend to let his native country conquer this land? That sounds reasonable. But somehow, she's sure that's not Jean's reason.

So what is the real intention? Let time answer it.
