What Actually Happened

The tragic events that befell Viscount Lostov's family have spread to various corners of the capital. Not only for the Lostovs, the tragedy that occurred in their residence was the most tragic event that the Dublin royal nobility had ever experienced.

The attack from the ferocious beast, as the nobles called it, had killed over 30 personal knights belonging to Viscount Lostov. More than a hundred servants and other workers were killed.

But the worst blow was that it caused the entire building where the servants and workers lived to burn down. Also, half of the Lostov family's residence was scorched.

That's just a materil loss. Not to mention the moral losses they suffered. The waiters and other workers who saw how their friends were burned down, no longer wanted to work in the residence of Viscount Lostov.

The fate of Viscount Lostov himself was no less bad. His two right and left fingers were severed, the blood vessels in his legs were torn, and his stomach was severely injured. He is now trying to be healed by the priests who work in the cathedral.

"Are you hurt yourself, Natasha?"

Charlotte worriedly checked Natasha's body condition. Jean is also there when Natasha comes to uncle Hull's house and begs to stay at his house for a while. Uncle Hull seems to know Natasha very well. So she happily allowed Natasha to stay for a while in her house while the Lostov family residence was renovated.

"Unn. I'm doing fine. Thanks Charlotte. Sorry for bothering you."

Natasha regrets having troubled Charlotte. But the girl herself did not mind. It wasn't Natasha's fault for what had happened. Natasha is her best friend.

"Jean, please take Natasha to her room. Also prepare all the needs Natasha needs."

Jean nodded and escorted Natasha to the room that Jean had prepared for Natasha. On the way to the room, Jean and Natasha did not chat. Maybe because he was still in shock about what happened to his family. But it feels so cold here. So Jean decided to say something.

"Miss Natasha, allow me to express my deep sorrow for the tragic events that have befallen your family. May the goddess Arian bestow blessings on all your families and other Victims in this event."

"Yes....Thanks Jean. But honestly, I'm not too sad about what happened to you. For all he did to those people, Dad deserves the suffering he's going through right now. I just feel sorry for the dead servants and workers. They did nothing wrong and sinned, but they were victims of the tragedy."

Jean nodded. That's absolutely true. With the exception of Natasha, the Lostovs deserve it all considering what they've done.

'But who would have thought that all this would go beyond my expectations?'

Jean just shook her head and continued to drive Natasha to the room she was going to live in.

To find out what really happened, let's retreat to a few moments before the tragedy that befell the Lostovs happened.

Fortunately, Jean got away. Well, he can infiltrate whenever he wants and won't get caught at all. It's not that she's invisible, more so because Jean chose the ability to eliminate her existence completely. Something he trained while still hunting.

Jean took some very sharp daggers. This dagger is commonly used to disassemble animal bodies. Starting from the process of skinning to taking the meat. The dagger he held was a multifunctional dagger.

He took about 50 daggers and put them in a sack nearby. Undetectable by anyone, Jean freely breezed out of the kitchen.

The next target is a place where people used as 'human circus' performances are locked up. That place is not guarded by anyone. But clearly, the chains that tied their bars were so strong that they would not be able to simply escape.

"Good afternoon gentlemen. How, do you enjoy the free time given by the Lord Viscount?"

They all looked at Jean with gazes like a bunch of lifeless creatures. Their eyes no longer emitted the light of life. But Jean could feel the flames of violence buried within them.

Jean threw the 50 daggers she had taken from the kitchen into their confinement.

"Now, I'll give you a chance. You will no longer be able to live freely forever. From the beginning you have been considered pigs. No one cares about you guys. Parents, wives, children, they've all been taken by someone else.

"To restore your dignity, repay the Viscount's treatment to you! Destroy everything he has! Burn everything he has! Don't let anyone live! That way, you'll take back your predicate as a human."

When Jean said that, her expression was always fickle. At first he smiled politely like a narrator in a drama, then his face showed deep anger and resentment. And the last one was a sly and vile smile.

Looks like Jean's agitation worked. The eyes of those people changed. There was no life in their gazes, but their eyes were like those of starving dogs. Jean smiled with satisfaction at that.

"Okay gentlemen. Calm down. If your anger explodes now, the knights will kill you first. All right, listen to me. If any knights come to you, let them take you to a wider place. After that, shift their attention and finish everything off as quickly as possible. Then you escaped! After that....."

Jean took a stone as big as her palm. He then smashed the stone into sheer sand.

"After that, destroy everything! Do what you want!"

With a cold look, Jean looked at them. These men were like docile dogs in front of Jean. And, they will be starving dogs once they get out of the cage.

And that's it, the rest is history. They killed anyone who passed in front of them, burned everything in front of them, and they even managed to bite the fingers of Viscount Lostov until it broke, stabbing his fat stomach many times until the contents came out, and pulled his ear almost to break.

That's what's really happening
