One day Caliph Umar Abdul Aziz addressed the Muslims. As always, his speech sangant attract and captivate the listeners. But this time, apart from the content of his speech, the movements of the Caliph also became a concern. The Caliph often holds and wagges his shirt when making a speech, occasionally on the right and occasionally on the left. Thus the people realized that the hand movement of the Caliph had nothing to do with the content of the speech.
After the Caliph descended from the place of speech, they asked each other and finally found out his secret. It is said that the clothes worn by the Caliph had just been washed and had not dried. Because of the absence of clothes again, then the clothes were used as well. So he always moves his clothes when making a speech to dry quickly.
When Caliph Umar was ill, the clothes he wore were dirty. Muslimah Abdul Aziz Fatimah Abul Malik's brother came to see his sister and saw the ill Caliph. "Fatimah, wash the Caliph's clothes. A moment more people will come in to see him", Muslimah rebuked. "By Allah, he has no clothes except those worn" replied Fatimah.
An Egyptian woman has come to Damascus because she wants to meet Amirul Mukminin Caliph Umar Abdul Aziz. He wondered where the palace of the Caliph and the crowd showed it. At the intended house, the Egyptian woman met a woman wearing shabby and ugly clothes and a man was struggling with the ground for repairing her house.
The woman asked again and when she learned that the woman being asked was Fatimah the wife of the Caliph, she was shocked beyond measure. Because of which there was a powerful royal consort wearing such bad clothes. He felt afraid and amazed. But Fatimah was good at serving, so that the guest felt like and calm heart.
"Why didn't you shut yourself off from that sand dumpling guy?" ask the Egyptian woman. "That sandbanter is Amirul Mukminin" Fatimah replied with a smile. Once again the guest was surprised and privileged. Caliph Umar had no servants except one boy. He was the only Khadam in Umar's court. Fatimah fed him peanuts every day so that the waiter became bored. "Nuts.nuts, every day peanuts," said the waiter. "This is the food of your master Amirul Mukminin, O children," said Fatimah.
While the husband and wife were watching properly, suddenly the young man on horseback was in front of her. "Assalamualaikum" said the horseman. "Waalikumsalam" answered the two husbands. It turned out that he was his son, so surprised the two parents while immediately hugging him. They were unusually happy mixed in wonder.
"Dad, mother is still there" said the young man reprimanding. "I'm not like father and mother anymore, neither are father and mother like me. I didn't come home to my mom and dad." Both parents understand what their child means, and they stay calm. Then the boy explained that his arrival was not intentional.
"Actually I did not come to visit my father and mother, but to take advantage of other purposes. Amirul Mukminin Caliph Umar Abdul Aziz has died. The martyrs ask God for permission to be present in the management of their bodies. God allowed their request and I was among them."
Then he asked the situation of his parents, respected him and promised goodness from God. Then he prayed that his parents would greet him and leave. Thus the villagers learned that their caliph Umar Abdul Aziz had died.
