the story of the Forgotten Prayers congregated and Umar bin Khattab testified.

FORGETTING THE PRAYER OF WORSHIP

There is a great scholar named Ubaidillah Al-Qawariri.He is a hadith expert and teacher of famous hadith narrators Bukhari and Muslim. After the Maghrib prayer, there are guests visiting his home. He also received the guest with great respect.

Because of his respect to guests, He must also be left behind the prayer isya. After his guests returned home, he immediately went to the mosque. Apparently, in the mosque there are no worshippers. Finally, he invited the people around him to perform congregational prayers. However, all communities around the mosque have been performing congregational prayers in the mosque.

With a troubled heart, he regretted having missed the chance of getting a 27-degree reward. To make up for his negligence and appease his heart, Ubaidillah performed the isha prayer 27 times. After the prayer, he went to sleep.

In his sleep, Ubaidillah dreamed of riding behind a group of mighty horsemen. Their horse\-horse roar was so fast that Ubaidillah and his horse were left in the rear row.

One of the horsemen turned to Ubaidillah,

"Don't trouble your horse by telling him to run faster. You won't catch up with us anyway"

"why is that? why can't I catch up with you?" ask Ubaidillah astonishment.

"because we pray together, while you pray alone" replied a horseman.

Ubaidillah Al\-Qowariri awakens and becomes involved. The dream had apparently given him the idea that even though he had performed 27 prayers, it still could not be equated and compared with 27 times the merits of congregational prayer.

So sadly Ubaidillah regretted his negligence leaving congregational prayer just for the sake of doing activities that can be delayed for a moment, namely serving guests. And since then, Ubaidillah determined to never again miss the congregational prayer.the goodness of congregational prayer is irreplaceable by repeating the prayer up to 27 times.

UMAR BIN KHATTAB TESTIFIED

"Hi Umar! If the truth is not in your religion, then I testify that there is no God but Allah and I testify that Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."

Seeing his brother bleeding, there was regret and shame in the heart of Umar. He asked for the Al\-Qur'an. However, Fatimah rejected him saying that 'Umar Najis, and the Al\-Qur'an should not be touched except by those who have been holy. Fatimah ordered Umar to take a bath if he wanted to touch the mushaf and Umar did so.

After reading sheet by sheet, Umar commented,

"This is a beautiful and holy name. How beautiful and glorious this speech is. Show me where Muhammad is."

Umar rushed to meet the Prophet Muhammad. Bringing his sword.

There he knocked on the door. Someone in it tried to peek at him through the door. Umar bin Khattab came with a fierce sword. Soon he told the Prophet. They also gathered.

And Umar said,

"I testify that there is no God but Allah and you are the Messenger of Allah."

Umar's testimony was greeted by an echo of takbir by people who were inside the house at that time until his voice was heard to the illegal mosque.

Umar bin Khattab r.a is famous for his strong character and stature. Before converting to Islam, he was feared by Muslims. On the contrary, after converting to Islam, he was greatly feared by his enemies.
