At one dusk, a woman staggered. His all-black clothes signified that he was in gripping sorrow. Her veil was tightly cupped almost all over her face. Without any face ornaments or jewelry attached to his body. Clean skin, slender body and the romance of his face, can not remove the impression of pain that is tearing his life. He stepped dragged near the residence of the house of the Prophet Moses. The door slid slowly while saying a greeting. Then came the saying from inside "Please enter".
The beautiful woman then walked in while her head continued to duck. His tears broke as he said, "O Prophet of Allah. Please me. Pray that God will forgive me my vile sins."
"What is your sin, woman?" the Prophet Moses asked in surprise.
"I'm afraid to say it." replied the beautiful woman. "Say no hesitation!" the Prophet Moses.
So the woman was broken, saying, "I have committed adultery.
"The head of Moses was lifted up, his heart flinched. The woman continued, "From the adultery I too. After the child was born, I immediately choked his neck until he died" said the woman, crying. Moses was burning his eyes. With an airy face he shuddered, "Female bejad, get you out of here! So that the punishment of God may not fall into my house because of your deeds. Go!". cried the prophet Moses, turning his eyes away in disgust.
A woman with an ayu face with a heart like a glass hit a stone, crushed immediately rose and stepped out. He came out of the house of Moses. Her crying was heartbreaking. He didn't know where else to complain. He didn't even know where his feet were going. If a prophet had rejected him, how would other people accept him? It was revealed how great his sin was, how evil he had done. He did not know that after his death, the Angel Gabriel came down to Moses.
Gabriel asked, "Why do you reject a woman who repents from her sin? Do you not know of a greater sin than he?" Prophet Moses was surprised. "What sin is greater than the abomination of the adulteress and the murderer?" So Moses curiously asked Gabriel. "Is there a greater sin than that of a woman who is blasphemous?"
"There!" replied Jibril firmly. "What is that sin?" ask Moses a.s. "People who leave prayers intentionally and without regret. That man's sin is greater than a thousand for adultery."
And the one who repents and regrets his sin sincerely means still having faith in his breast and being convinced that God is on the path of obedience to Him. That is why God wants to accept His coming.
Even in one hadith the Prophet s.a.w. said "whoever abandons prayer deliberately, then he is a blatant infidel" (H.R. Patricia)
In the hadith of the Prophet s.a.w. it is mentioned: "The one who leaves prayers is more sinful than the one who burns 70 pieces of the Quran, kill 70 prophets and have sex with their mothers in the Kaaba. In another hadith it is mentioned that the person who leaves the prayer until time passes, then he recites it, then he will be tormented in hell for a huqub. One huqub is eighty years old. One year consists of 360 days, while one day in the afterlife is a thousand years in the world."
Al-Ghazzali said: "If anyone says, that he has reached a level on the side of Allah s.w.t. until he is not obliged to pray, then he does not hesitate to be killed, and to kill such a man is more repulsive than to kill 100 pagans."
Ahmad bin Hanbal said: "It is not lawful to marry a woman who leaves prayer, but in our school: Marrying a dhimmiyah woman is better than marrying a woman who leaves prayer."
Thus the story of the Prophet Moses and the woman of penzina, hopefully a lesson for us and arise the intention to carry out the obligation of prayer with Istiqomah. Subhanakallahumma wabihamdika asyhadu allaa ilaaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atuubuilaiik.
