Not giving up on the grace of God

NOT DESPAIRING OF THE GRACE OF GOD.

Long before the death of the Prophet SAW, there was once someone extraordinary ‘prestas’ crime, he had killed ninety-nine people for no right reason. Nevertheless, suddenly moved in his heart to repent, only he was worried whether there was still an opportunity for him to return to the path of goodness. People around him suggested seeing a monk to ask about it.

When he arrived at the monk's residence, he told him of his heartbreak and his desire to repent. The monk asked, “What is your mistake?”

He said, “I have killed ninety-nine people for no good reason!!”

“What?” Excited the monk full of shock, “Kill ninety-nine people? There is no way for you!! The right place for you is hell!!”

The man was both disappointed and angry. He realized that his mistake was huge. But the way the monk responded and ‘memvonis’ deeply hurt his feelings. Although his heart began to soften with his desire to repent, but his evil soul had not completely disappeared. Without saying much, he took his knife and killed the monk. Even a hundred innocent lives have been floated in his hands, but ‘pilon’ Ilahiah to repent continues to disturb his feelings, only he does not know how?

The man immediately went to the city intended by the alim, but on the way death picked him up. Two men came to invite the soul of the man, one Angel of mercy and the other Angel of punishment (torture). The two angels quarreled and each felt entitled to carry the man's soul. The Angel of Mercy said, “He has walked to God with all his heart!!”

The angel of doom said, “He has never done any good, it is his heaps of evil!!”

The two of them continued to argue, until God finally sent the third angel in human form to become ‘hakim’ for both. After each of them had expressed his opinion, he said, “Call the distance of the two cities from the place of his death, whichever is closer, then he is included in his golong!!”

They measured the distance, and it turned out that the intended city (the city of worship and goodness) was closer to an inch than the Cottage it left behind. Then his soul was brought by the angel of mercy, and he obtained the forgiveness of Allah.

In another story mentioned, in fact the man has not far left the city. But Allah wills to forgive him, and from his place of death the city of good and worship is called near and the city of worship ‘dihalau’ away until the distance of both is only a matter of one hand, closer to the city of goodness.
