Mr. Asep fixed his merchandise, old strokes on the forehead, his face still looks clear. Since a year ago white skullcap has always adorned his head, covering his hair that has been entirely white. “Alhamdulillah Jang, sometimes quiet sometimes crowded,” he said telling his business with lips continue to smile. Mr. Asep and his wife have not had children. At a young age, they seem to enjoy life. Shown he and his wife will take a tour around saying talbiah, “Labbaik Allaahumma Labbaik”. The moments he dreamed of for years, to perfect the pillars of Islam, longing in his old days to draw near to the Khalik .


In the days of his pilgrimage spirit, suddenly came to his ear a news about his neighbor entering the hospital and had to be operated on. Neighbors have actually been dues helping to ease his hospital costs. But the cost of operation is expensive. Mr. Asep flinched……….


Shown by her savings for the cost of Hajj can help the operation of the stairs that do not have. “Haji worship, alms also worship, not what alms our money for treatment, Ki,” his wife supports his savings for years was given to the cost of his neighbors who operated in the hospital.


Few know the sincerity of Mr. Asep and his wife.


When the doctor who treated his friend was surprised from where he could finance this expensive operation, then came the story about Mr. Asep's savings. “May I be introduced to Mr Asep, sir?” greet the doctor. So he met Mr. Asep and his wife. And found the shade of a philanthropist. A rich face, albeit in the simplicity of life. “Pak Asep, I have sustenance, may I join in registering my Father and wife go Hajj with me and family?” The doctor offered. Mr. Asep and his wife looked at him for a moment. No longer able to hold haru, embraced by the generous doctor earlier. “Alloh Maha Kaya,” he said softly in the ears of the doctor.

Then his feet were present in Jerusalem, with the gifts and sustenance of Allah. Mr. Asep and his wife seemed to sip the perfect dish of God, the fruit of his generosity.


The story of Mr. Asep may have happened a lot of our lives. Mr. Asep-Pak Asep has also scratched the wisdom of his own life. Or we have often experienced it ourselves. And always alms will nourish our hearts, bless our lives. So why do we delay our alms ?
