ARGUING TO REFUSE TREASURE

There are two pious people involved in land purchase transactions. The buyer cultivated the land for cultivation, but suddenly he found a vessel full of gold jewelry. He was indeed a very wara’ (watch out for the shubhat, let alone the haram), because he felt it was not his, he brought the vessel containing gold to the seller of land, and said, “I found this vessel of gold in the land I bought, it must be yours, take it!!” 

The seller of land, besides pious he is also very wara’ as well as the buyer of the land, he said, “I sell the land and everything in it, he said, so the jewels are yours!!”

“Can't,” Said the land buyer again, “I only intend (and deactivate) to buy your land, and not buy your gold!!”

The land seller said, “Gold you found after the land became yours, so it is yours, not mine!!”

Thus, they continue to argue to refuse to have a vessel containing gold jewelry whose value (price) is certainly very high. That they do it solely because they do not want ‘putin’ and eat syubhat goods, which will eventually be very difficult for them in yaumul hisaab later.

Hearing his complaint, the teacher said, “With the warning of a time like this coming, a wise man once said: Do not give all (secrets) of your strength to your friend, for if he turns to be your enemy, you will be defeated. Have you never heard that story, that of someone who was self-injured by his student??”
