The richer and the more slander-loving

The Richer and Loving Slander

Abu Nawas was an astute and thoughtful man, but his expression was very humbling and became a laughing stock to the public at the time. He was well-loved and loved by Caliph Harun Al-Rashid.

One day Abu Nawas went to the market to meet his friends. The market conditions that morning were busy with people buying. When I arrived at the market Abu Nawas said, "Hi my friends, I hate the right and love the slander" and he said again "I am actually richer today than God". The people who heard Abu Nawas began to feel suspicious and accused Abu Nawas was no longer aware because everyone loved the right thing and hated slander and indeed Allah was all-powerful rich from his creatures.

The people who were there had arrested Abu Nawas and brought him to the Caliph Harun Al-Rashid. People told Caliph Harun Al-Rashid about Abu Nawas' speech at the market earlier, The Caliph was very angry with Abu Nawas' words. Since the Caliph was a just government, he did not continue to punish Abu Nawas until he was absolutely certain of the truth of Abu Nawas' words. The Caliph asked Abu Nawas "Is it true that you say that you hate the right and love slander?". "It is Amirul Mukminin" Abu Nawas replied. The Caliph asked again "Is it true that you say that you are richer than Allah?". Abu Nawas replied "Right, O Amirul Mukminin".

Caliph Harun Al-Rashid was very angry with Abu Nawas because Abu Nawas was a pious man and always feared Allah. The Caliph said, "What has happened to you?. Have you disbelieved for being able to speak these words?". Abu Nawas smiled and said "Prophey, O Amirul Mukminin, listen first to the servant's explanation" "What are you going to explain again, are not your words clear and real" replied the Caliph. "Look, O Amirul Mukminin" replied Abu Nawas and heeded him again "I often hear people reading talkin that death is a right and hell is a right, is not death and hell very much hated by the people" "I think Amirul Mukminin also hates death and hell as much as I hate him" said Abu Nawas. Caliph Harun Al-Rashid nodded his head signifying the truth of Abu Nawas' words.

Caliph Harun Al-Rahid asked again "Tell me how you say that you are richer than Allah". Abu Nawas replied with a message, "I have many children and Allah has no children and no children". The people who were there felt relieved and satisfied on the explanation of Abu Nawas. They also circulate from there to continue their respective activities.

Caliph Harun Al-Rashid married Abu Nawas a gift at his discretion and said to Abu Nawas "What exactly caused you to speak these words in public". Abu Nawas replied that he wanted to meet Amirul Mukminin, only in that way could he meet Amirul Mukmini. After chatting with Caliph Harun Al-Rashid, Abu Nawas pleaded and circulated from there.
