THE NATURE OF TRUST IN BUYING AND SELLING
Muhammad Ibn Al\-Munkadir has a fashion store with various types of dresses that are expensive, ranging from five to ten dirhams. One time, Muhammad Al\- Munkadir returned home. The store was guarded by his waiter. When there are shop consumers who want to buy a dress that actually costs Five dirhams, the waiter instead sells for ten dirhams.
When it was discovered by Muhammad Ibn Al\-Munkadir, he immediately looked for the buyer for a long time when he met the buyer of the dress, Muhammad Ibn Al\-Munkadir said,
"my waiter has mis-sold.He sold you a dress for 10 dirhams.when it cost only 5 dirhams."
the buyer said,
"It's okay, sir, I'm willing to."
Ibn Al\-Munkadir answered,
"Yes, you are willing, but I am not willing until we are equally willing.you choose one of my 3 proposals! you take the 10 dirhams worth of clothes, or I return your 5 dirhams of money, or you return our clothes and you receive your dirhams."
The man chimed in, though,
"Give me my 5 dirhams change."
Muhammad Ibn Al\-Munkadir immediately gave the man's 5 dirhams and then immediately went home. The Bedouin man immediately asked, to his brother.
"who was that guy?"
"he is Muhammad Ibn Al-Munkadir" replied his brother.
The Bedouin man said again,
THE STORY OF THE CEMPAKA FLOWER VENDOR
A grandmother of a Cempaka flower seller every day walked far to the market in the city to sell. After selling, she stopped first to the mosque for Zuhr prayer.
After praying, the Grandma cleaned up the trash of leaves scattered in the courtyard of the mosque. This was done every day under the hot sun. After all the leaves were cleaned then she returned to her village.
The manager of the mosque was sorry to see the habit of the grandmother. One day, the, The manager of the mosque decided to clean the leaves scattered in the courtyard of the mosque before the grandmother came. They thought the effort would help the grandmother not to bother cleaning the mosque yard.
Apparently, the good intention even made the grandmother sad and ended up crying. She begged that she continue to be given the opportunity to clean the mosque yard as usual. Finally, she said, the mosque was forced to let the situation go as usual so that the grandmother would no longer serve.
Once, a kyai asked why the grandmother did this.
"I am a foolish woman, kyai.I know, my small charity may also not be true.I cannot survive on the day of the Resurrection without the intercession of the Prophet. Every time I take a leaf, I say 1 salawat to the Prophet. Later if I die, I want the Prophet to pick me up. Let all these leaves testify that I have recited the salawat to him."
The Kyai was also amazed at the treatment of the very noble grandmother.
"Allah and the angel looked to the Prophet. O you who believe, greet him."(Q.Y.S. Al-Zhab/33: 56)
The Prophet said:
"Nobody salutes me but Allah will deliver to my soul so that I can answer that greeting."((H. R Abu Dawud).
_Hopefully we can both live the sincerity of the noble grandmother!...
