"Yes, Mom. I'm fine here."

"If there's time, I'll go home, ma'am."

"Mas Tian, he .. well. He treats me very well."

"I'm happy, Mom. Doain's mom, huh?"

"I love Mom. I miss Mom."

I squeezed my phone firmly in my grasp when the phone connection was cut off. I cry in silence. Blaming myself for telling my mother dishonest. I lied, and for the first time I lied to my own mother.

I couldn't see my mother's face later, when she found out that the marriage between me and Tian was about to end, even more when she found out that her daughter was going to be a widow. I can't see that shady face grieving. Really, I can't.

But I had no choice but to separate. I don't want my presence in this house to be just a hindrance to Tian. I don't want that guy hating me more. In fact, this marriage is not entirely on my own will or the wishes of my parents. But this marriage took place because of the wishes of Papa and his own mother. If Tian forgets.

We were married for almost two months, and I kept this pain alone for the rest of the time. I accept the way the man treated me all this time. Behind his cold demeanor, but Tian never forgot to grant me birth, he always gave me monthly money. It was always without my knowledge. Again, it was Mbok Iyam who always kept the envelope containing the money on the nightstand in my room. I'm trying to strengthen myself to keep this marriage going for at least a year. But before that one year, it seemed like I had already lost.

"I'm sorry, Mom."

My mind screams. I squeezed firmly into my chest which felt tight. I don't know why I'm weak like this. I'm not even myself, a strong girl and not as weak as what Dad told me.

But this time, I'm not Nayara Syila.

Feeling that I had been crying long enough to calm myself down, I decided to go back into the room. After an hour or so I sat in the back garden chair breathing air tonight.

"Mas ... You?" I screeched, in disbelief as I saw the man standing at the entrance. When did Tian stand there? is it possible that the man overheard all of my conversations with Mom?

I lowered my gaze back as Tian still locked his mouth tightly while wiping away the remains of the tear marks on the cheeks. I don't know why I felt something was different from the man's gaze when he was looking at me.

The cold, sharp look I usually see, and tonight I see a look I can't understand.

"Excuse me, Mas.!" I passed through his body just like that, not wanting to see that face linger.

"Tomorrow we'll go home, Mama." His heavy voice stopped my steps.

Then look back. I saw Tian still standing there, turning his back on my body.

Apparently the man had already told his family about our separation?

"Mama, sick. He told us to come home tomorrow. Mama wants to meet you too."

"Mama's sick?" It turns out my guess was wrong. I thought my mother-in-law knew about this parting plan. Apparently, he's sick.

"Hit ..." Answer with a head that nodded. He turned his body so that he now faced me.

"What pain, Mom?"

"His stomach disease is recurring."

"All right." I nodded, "I'll talk to Mama and Papa tomorrow."

The man frowned with a frown, "You mean?"

"About our farewell." My answer made Tian instantly silent.

Without waiting any longer, I also left Tian who was still unmoved in his place. I don't know what that guy is doing now. Clearly, I know that Tian must be very happy. Isn't this his wish to be able to part with me.

So, tomorrow I'll tell her about our separation to her parents. Both of them will be disappointed with our decision.

******

Tian and I were already getting ready to visit her Mama's house, which she said was sick.

The journey from the Tian house to the home of his parents was not too far away, it only took about half an hour. But Jakarta is not the name if it is not jammed like today. Just like now, we were both stuck in a fairly long traffic jam.

Not for the first time I was in the guy's car, but somehow the awkward atmosphere is back in control now. Me and Tian were both silent as usual. There was no conversation we had other than just staring at the streets ahead and occasionally playing with our phones.

Finally, our car arrived in front of his parents' house. Tian immediately descended after removing the seatbelt from his body, even with me. We went down, and I followed the man from behind.

"Den Tian ..." Sapa a middle-aged woman was so that the rectangular object made of teak wood was wide open.

"Well, is it, Bik.?"

"There was. Come on in, Den. Madam has been waiting since." He said again while throwing a big smile, then his eyes turned to look at me. "Neng Naya, my goodness .. beautiful." she said, which made me smile. Me and Bik Idah, we both have met before. "Den Tian was lucky to have a beautiful wife like a gini angel."

"Thank you, Bik." I answered while smiling. While the man just stared straight ahead flatly. It seemed like this conversation between the two of us did not attract his attention at all.

Want me to be as beautiful as anything, still will not have any effect for a shitty man like him.

Tian and I followed Bik Idah, the middle-aged woman who took us to meet Mama Maya who was resting in the room. While Papa Adi, he was in his study.

"Darling ... When are you guys coming?" Mama Maya asked as she saw Tian and I had just walked into her room.

"Ma ..." Tian immediately kissed the back of his mother's hand, even with me.

"Mama why?" Asking me worried.

He smiles. "Mama's stomach acid goes up." He said while waking up. I immediately helped my mother-in-law to lean her body on the headboard. Then sit next to him.

After quite a while Tian and I were in Mama's room, the man decided to leave the room on the grounds that he wanted to see her. Though I knew that Tian, the man was feeling uneasy every time the Mama asked when we were going on our honeymoon. And not only that made Tian want to leave the room immediately, the man did not seem to like it when the mother asked that Tian and I immediately give her a grandchild.

A granddaughter? we will even be separated soon.

Seeing how the look on Mama Maya's face sparkled when she wanted the presence of a granddaughter in this house made me grimace a little.

Mama Maya and Papa Adi were so nice to me. They both really love me like their own daughter. Can I see them both disappointed?

Can I express my desire to part with her son, while they both have more hopes for our marriage.

Had they known what Tian treated me like all this time, would the two of them believe it?

If Tian could just be a little kind to me, maybe I would still maintain this marriage at least until I find the right time to end this marriage.

Oh my God .. What should I do?

"Mas ... Do I want to talk?" After a few minutes of waiting, Tian finally came out from inside the bathroom, the man looked very fresh with his full outfit. Tonight, Tian and I decided to stay over at his mother's house. We were forced to use the same room. I stepped closer to him. "If Mama's condition has improved, I'll talk about our parting plans."

"You want to see my mom get sick again?"

"Wouldn't faster be better?"

"But this is not the right time." Tian scooped up the air a lot while rubbing his face in a huff. I saw something different from him, but what?

"Wait until things get better. We'll talk later."

I could do nothing but obey. It is true what the man said, this is not the right time. I don't want to see Mama Maya get sick again just because of me. And I have to wait until my mother-in-law is healthy again.

Wait till tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow. Then, I was again startled when Tian said something that made my eyes widen perfectly.

"And I won't divorce you so soon."

Whahuh?

Whatdoes thatmean?
