"Are you ready, honey?"
I turned my head to find Mother standing at the door of my room in a very neat dress. "It's Mom." I approached him smiling. "Come, we're leaving now.!"
In the end, I decided to accompany my mother. Although I had doubts, but I won't let you go alone. I will accompany Mother to meet the invitation from Mama Maya, my former mother-in-law.
For half an hour we passed through the streets of the capital after passing a little traffic jam, now we both have arrived in front of the house that looks unchanged at all. The house I used to live in for a few days still looks the same as it used to.
Mom and I decided to get out of the car, seen in front of and inside the house was already very crowded by some people who attended the event.
Mom and I entered the mansion, and Mama Maya was lucky to see us coming. With a big smile, he approached us. Mama Maya hugged Mom and me in turn. Don't forget he said a lot of thanks because me and Mom would like to be present tonight.
It seemed like there were not many guests they invited, only a few relatives and close neighbors. That's what Mama Maya told me.
Mama Maya asked me and Mom to enter the room where Papa Adi was waiting for us to arrive there. And sure enough, when he saw us enter Papa Adi immediately approached. I myself felt uncomfortable because the two were too kind to treat us both.
At seven o'clock in the evening the event began, Mom and I sat side by side and to my right were my former in-laws. While the event was going on, I was able to breathe a bit of relief because the person who did not want me to meet happened to not be here.
Where is that guy?
Shouldn't Tian be here at a time like this?
But I haven't seen him since? and that little girl.
Ah ... What do I care? that's none of my business.
My head shook, and it didn't go unnoticed by Mom. He held my hand gently. I think I know what's inside my head.
I smiled, then asked Mom and Maya for permission to go to the bathroom.
I have recognized the contents of this house, so I also decided to choose a bathroom located on the second floor.
As soon as I came out, I was a little surprised when there was a puppet thrown right in front of me standing at this moment. I turned my head, looking at the door of the room that was not fully closed. I came closer and saw a little girl crying there.
Cheery.
I don't know what made the little girl go on such a rampage. I also saw the middle-aged woman as if overwhelmed when facing the child who was crying so loudly.
Seeing Cheery cry like that made me want to go up to him. I also felt pity when I heard his voice was very raucous, maybe because Cheery had been crying for a long time. I opened the door of the room, before long a tiny face that looked red and both eyes that had been swollen was staring at me.
The next instant Cheery fell silent, the beautiful and adorable little-faced girl looked at me fixedly. Even with Asih, the middle-aged woman looked at me now while throwing a smile.
"Why Cheery, Ma'am?"
"Non Cheery is angry, because her father hasn't come home yet. Miss." It was obviously Asih who made me look back at the little girl now.
"Why are you crying?" I tried to get close to him.
The tiny head shook.
"This doll's got Cheery, right?"
The little girl was still silent, only her head nodded.
"Here, auntie's back in the doll." I thrust the doll in front of him.
"Thank you, Aunt." Her great-granddaughter who made me anxious after she took the beloved doll from my hand.
"Together sweet boy." I squatted in front of him. My eyes shimmered around the room that was specially made for children his age. A nice room. "Aunty can tell, why are you crying dear?"
"Papa." Geez .. Looking at her curvy lips like wanting to cry back made me want to kiss her.
"Papa?"
Again, Cheery nodded. And those two round eyeballs are back in. I reached out my hand, and without my guessing, the little boy burst into my arms.
"Papa, nasty. Papa left without calling me." he said again.
"Maybe Papa's still working baby. Papa's coming home too." I stroked her back gently, allowing the child to cry in my arms.
"Miss, excuse me for making non Cheery milk."
I nodded, Asih left us both now in the room.
"Darling, want aunty to read a book?"
"What book?" The little girl broke her embrace. He looked at me as he rubbed the remaining clear liquid on the cheek of the kingpin.
"Book that story." I pointed to a storybook lying not far from where we were sitting right now.
"You." He answered with his little head that nodded.
"Okay, Auntie will read the storybook, but Cheery has to promise Auntie, can't cry anymore. How's it?"
"Yes, Aunt. I promise I won't cry."
I happily led Cheery up to the bed, then picked up the book and read him a fairy tale about Kancil and the herd of crocodiles. I'm happy because now Cheery is no longer crying, even Asih still can't believe what she's seeing now.
Asih said, no one could persuade Cheery when the little girl cried. Even Grandma and Grandpa were always overwhelmed and raised their hands. Only Tian, only his Papa could make Cheery stop crying instantly. And now seeing Cheery so obedient to Nayara, it all felt like a dream to Asih.
In fact, Nayara is a stranger according to Asih.
I faintly heard someone's voice, I turned to look at the door of the open room. Then, how surprised I was when I saw Mama Maya and Tian standing there looking at me. I hurriedly cleaned up the storybook and immediately got out of bed. Luckily, Cheery was asleep.
"Sorry, Ma. I'm ..."
"No, dear father." Mama Maya approached me, even with Tian. The man was still wearing work clothes, I was sure that Tian had just arrived at his house.
"It is precisely Mama who apologizes, because Cheery has already taken care of you." Said he while smiling. Mama Maya gets a report from her domestic assistant.
Without wanting to linger in their midst, I say goodbye to Mama Maya to meet Mother who might have been waiting for me.
"Naya, wait."
I who had just walked out of the room suddenly stopped when I heard that raucous voice.
"Thank you." It was slow, but I could still hear it.
Without even looking back, I also chose to nod, then just left Tian who was still standing there.

A few minutes ago, the tasyakuran event made by my two former in-laws was over. All the invited guests who attended little by little began to leave the house of the owner of the event. There were only a few people left, including me and Mom.
My mother and I approached my former in-laws and Tian. We both said goodbye to go home. Even though Mama Maya asked us to stay at her house, Mom and I decided to go home even though the rain was very heavy.
As soon as Mom and I were in the car, suddenly my engine didn't start. I tried several times to revive the car but it still didn't work, and it looks like it really broke down.
"Why baby?"
"It looks like it's breaking down, Mom."
As I was about to restart the engine, I saw Tian coming towards us. The man wore an umbrella to block his head and body from raining water.
"Why, Mom?"
"The car broke down, son Tian."
I instantly averted my eyes as Tian looked at me. Although Tian knew I was only silent as he asked, but it did not make the man stop.
"Nay, Mother. You can wait outside, let me see the car."
"Let's go, baby, let's go down first. Who knows if Nak Tian can help."
I nodded, and chose to get out of the car. Meanwhile, Tian, the man was still trying to start his car engine.
Me and Mom who were waiting outside suddenly felt bad when Mama Maya and Papa Adi came back to us. They both requested that Tian take us both home.
"Tian, let's get Naya and Ratna's mom home."
"It's okay, Ma. We can go home by ourselves." Reject me.
"No, baby, it's night. Keep raining. Let Tian take you, will he?"
"For the car business, let Papa's man deliver him to your house tomorrow." I can only nod because I can't refuse Papa Adi.
So, this is where we are now. I sat in the back, while Mother sat in the front with Tian. On the way home, I prefer to be quiet. But not with Mother and also Tian who occasionally engaged in a heated conversation. Even though they were only limited to former mother-in-law and ex-daughter-in-law, but I did not see any awkwardness at all between the two. Even I can hear, sometimes Mother gives advice to the man.
As soon as I arrived in front of the house, I was a little surprised by Tian's treatment of Mother. The man opened the umbrella and led her to the front door. While I was, I followed behind while running small because the rain that fell was still very heavy.
"Son Tian, would you like to stop by first?" Ask Mom when we were all on the porch.
"No need, Mom. I just go home."
"But the rain is getting heavier, I made you a drink first?'
"No, Ma. It's late, and I don't want to bother." Reject it directly.
I can't force. He said goodbye to enter the house first after Tian asked permission to talk to me for a while. At first I refused, but my mother. I was silent when Mom looked at me.
"What's this?" I asked when Tian suddenly handed me a small book.
"Isn't this yours?"
I looked at Tian and the book in turn, and ...
Oh my God .. This diary book is mine?
Why is it in Tian's hands?
The man smiled, and I saw that smile again. Tian slightly walked towards me, then he directly said something that made me gape in disbelief.
"Sorry, if I open it and read it."
Whatdoes thatmean?
Don't-don't ...
Jesus ... !!!
Did Tian know about my feelings for her?
