Second chance

"Ra .. That's your ex-husband, right?"

I saw where Geril's eyes were, and sure enough, Tian was standing in front of his car. His body rests on the door of the car with both hands inserted into the pockets of his pants. I thought the man was just jokingly wanting to see me. But Tian really does exist. The man was even willing to wait in front of the club this late night.

"What's he here for, anyway?" Mumamku.

"Where do I know.!" Reply Geril while circulating his shoulder indifferently. "Gue go back first."

"But, Ril."

"Udah, you must be in the same anterin as him."

"Sok knows.!"

"By the way ..." Nenci approached, the half-woman man whispered softly. "You don't want to be with him, tell me, I'm ready to change."

I glanced cynically, making the two giggle as they passed.

After that, Geril and my assistant Nenci left just like that leaving me who was still standing on the spot. Before getting into the car, Geril first approached Tian. I saw the two of them talking, and I didn't know what the two of them were talking about until I saw Geril and Nenci get in the car and they left.

Tian came to me.

"Why are you here, Mom?"

"I want to see you." He replied, Tian scanned me from top to bottom. In a face like that certainly makes me uncomfortable. I saw Tian immediately take off the suit that was still attached to his body. "Wear this." He said then while attaching his work coat to the back of my body. The man put it on my shoulder. Close the open back and shoulders. "Aren't you comfortable wearing clothes lacking materials like this?"

I glanced cynically, "No." Ketus. "It's a habit.!"

Tian chuckled slightly as he shook his head faintly. "Look at them." I followed where Tian's eyes were. "Do you like your body to see people like that?"

I don't know why my lips suddenly feel stifled. I looked at them, there were four striped men looking at me like a starving man. I'm actually used to wearing clothes like this when I'm at work, but for this time somehow it feels very different.

Do I look like a call woman?

Looking at me who was silent, Tian smiled faintly.

"Let's go, I don't want you to be the center of their attention."

Without answering, I complied, letting Tian grab my hand and follow her into the car after the man opened the door for me first.

Being in the car, somehow the atmosphere suddenly became quiet as it is today. I was more silent, suddenly seeing my own appearance which actually did look a little open. Tian focused on driving his car. Every now and then I see Tian glancing at me. The man took a deep breath before he said.

"Would you just quit your job, Nay?"

"That's my job, and I love it." I replied without looking at Tian. My gaze still remained, staring straight ahead.

"You can find another job, besides being a Dj."

I tilted, faced the man and looked at him dislikefully. "Do you think being a Dj is dirty, Mas?!"

"It's not like that." His kill.

"Then why?" My grunt is a little upset.

"I just--- I---"

Tian looked at me, the man did not seem to want to make the atmosphere worse. So, it was the sorry that came back that I heard coming out of his lips. My sitting position is back. The two of us were silent for a long time until Tian broke the silence again.

"I've met Dance."

I was a little surprised, but I stayed in my position. Waiting for what Tian will say next.

"Tari asked me to meet her with Cheery."

"He's his mother, and Cheery deserves to know. Mas." I said that made Tian look over at me.

"But I'm not ready, Nay." Tian rubbed his face rough. "It's too hard for me to introduce Dance to Cheery."

I saw the tired and riled murmur printed clearly on his face.

"What makes it so hard?"

"I can't forgive him yet." Obviously Tian.

"Is that hard for you to forgive, Mom? Dance must have said the reason why she left you and Cheery behind, right?"

Tian looked at me for a moment, before then he parked his car on the side of a deserted road that was not too crowded with vehicles. I actually wanted to protest, but Tian first placed his index finger in front of my lips. "In the meantime, I'd like to get some fresh air first." Tian got out of the car, the man leaned his body on the front of the car and then took something out of his pants pocket. I saw Tian lighting up the nicotine item.

I decided to go out with him.

"Why was I so blind?"

He said again after I sat down next to him. I looked at it with a thin smile.

"You're blind because you love her, Mom."

"Yes, I used to love her so much." The man hissed. Then throw the cigarette that stayed a little to the ground. "Until I'm made a fool out of love itself."

"It's not good to talk like that, Mom." Tian looked at me, even with me. Long time we both looked at each other in silence before then I was the one who decided his gaze. The air that was so cold tonight did not make us want to pass immediately, instead I really enjoyed it even though it made my whole body feel cold.

"What should I do now?" Her voice is soft. His eyes are still staring at me.

"Why are you asking me, Mom.? you know better what your own heart is." I answered while looking back at him.

"I still doubt." I turn around.

"Do you still love her, Mom?"

At once Tian looked at me. "Do I look like I still love him?"

I was silent, and somehow Tian's gaze was so locked.

"Look at my eyes, Nay." Her request. "By looking into my eyes, you'll know who I love now."

"Maos ..."

"Do you still doubt me?"

I'm silent.

"I'm serious about my feelings. I love you."

"Here you go, we better go home now."

"Mrs ...!" Tian pulled my hand as I was about to leave to leave to get back in the car.

"Mas ... It's night! We have to go home now."

"Give me a chance, Naya."

His eyes pleaded with. I was confused and didn't know what to answer. Wanted me to say 'no' but somehow these lips are too hard to pronounce.

"Give me a second chance."

I shook my head, "No Mas. I--" I bit my lower lip.

Tian grinned, "Look into my eyes, Naya." The man raised my face that had lowered earlier. "Look at me now, and tell me you can't."

According to his request, I looked at him.

"Say."

"M - Mas."

"Say you can't." Deuteronomy.

Again, I was hypnotized by his gaze. A soft, shady look that makes me unable to pucker. Looking at me who was just silent made the man smile faintly, then pulled my body in his arms. Tian hugged me.

"I know the answer now."

Said Tian while tightening his embrace.
