I'm also giving up
Meet Dance

A week passed.

In fact, what I said back then did not apply to Tian. The man was unwilling to give up, Tian used all means just to be able to meet me. Including with Cheery.

Yes, Cheery.

Tian used Cheery as his only tool to grab my attention. Just like now, I don't know what Tian told Cheery so the little boy whined asking me to accompany him on the streets today to a Mall.

I can't help but refuse Cheery's wishes. After meeting a few times, I somehow liked the little boy. Me and Cheery even became very close, and our closeness made Mother, Mama Maya and Tian at once very happy.

Looking at the tiny lips smiling, seeing how Cheery spoke, seeing how the little boy looked at me, I really liked him. I don't think I'd be able to see the boy grieve, let alone cry. Not because of Tian, I only felt pity when my memory returned to the story of Mama Maya about Dance. I, who was not a person, loved that child. But Dance, how can the woman I know so well, so steadfastly leave such an adorable child like Cheery.

If Tari knew that her son had grown up to be a smart and beautiful child, would she regret leaving Cheery?

Oh sure .. I'm pretty sure that Dance would be so sorry.

I also smiled to see how Cheery who laughed when playing with Tian. The innocent child who was laughing without burden looked extremely happy. Even with Tian, behind his echoing laughter, I saw the man trying to hide his own injuries.

"Racid?" I asked when Cheery was sitting on his lap. His forehead was sweating on top with his face flushed red because Cheery was too active in playing. Followed Tian who was behind him.

"I'm thirsty, Auntie." His great-grandson made me smile.

I gave her a drink, and Cheery immediately downed the drink.

"Here, Mas."

I thrust the cold drink in the package in front of him.

"Thank you." He said while giving a smile. Tian looked at me, even with me.

Although a little sweaty, did not make his good looks diminished even a little.

Not wanting to linger Tian looked at me, then I decided to throw my eyes away first. I don't know why the incident at my house the other day turned back on my head. The shadows when the chewy and wet lips were back on top of my lips, making me embarrassed and nervous.

"Why?" Ask with the tip of the lips slightly pulled upwards. Apparently from earlier Tian was still watching me. "What are you thinking?"

"Eng ... no.! I didn't think of anything."

Tian smiled, the man looked back at me now.

"Thank you." For the second time, Tian said that.

"For?"

"You're willing to accompany Cheery to play today."

"I did it for Cheery." I said slowly.

"Hit ..." Chief Tian nodded. "Despite that, I still have to thank you. Because of you, look how happy Cheery is now."

"As long as I don't work, I'll definitely take a little time to accompany Cheery."

"Mrs ..." Call her back. I just kept quiet, waiting for what Tian would say afterwards. "Aren't you going to stop working as a DJ.?"

I looked up, looking at him with a frown. "You mean, Mom?"

"Stop being a Dj."

"Why?"

"The job is too dangerous for you." I saw the worry clearly printed on his face.

"But I like it."

The man became silent as I looked at him dislikefully. Then there was confusion between the two of us.

"Papa, I'm hungry." He was gripping his stomach. Tian and I glanced at each other before staring at Cheery.

"Would you like to eat?"

The tiny head nodded.

"Alright, we're looking for food now."

Not much to say, me and Cheery followed where Tian went. The man took us to a fast food restaurant inside the Mall.

After waiting for a few minutes, the food we ordered began to be served on the table. As the meal went on, there was no conversation going on between me and Tian, even more I kept quiet because of my annoyance that had not been lost on the man.

What right did he have to forbid me to work?

When we finished, we all decided to go home. The atmosphere again melted as Tian again apologized to me. I don't know, why lately I like the word 'sorry' coming out of his lips.

I who was walking in front with Cheery was slightly jolted when I accidentally bumped into someone who was walking in front of me. The incident made one of his groceries fall on the floor just like that.

"It's okay."

"It's-" I'm surprised, I can't believe what I'm seeing right now. Even with that person, the woman was as shocked as I was. Also with Tian suddenly frozen there.

"Dance?"

"Ti - Tian.!"

I heard that voice. Tian's slightly raucous voice clashed with the soft voice of the woman who was now showing her surprised face.

"Tian, you ...?"

No time for Dance to say, Tian has already cut it first.

"Let's go."

I gasped when Tian suddenly pulled my hand and Cheery. "But, Mas?"

"We're getting out of here."

Unable to do anything about it, I just followed Tian who slightly pulled my hand.

"Tian wait." The little dance voice shouted.

I looked back, while Tian, that man was completely indifferent to the voice of Dance who kept calling out her name.

The originally soothing face had now turned violent. Since being in the car the man did not look friendly at all. Even the babble that came out of those tiny lips was not ignored at all.

"Papa, who's Aunt?

"So I heard that Aunt calling Papa's name, why Papa wasn't horrified."

"I saw Auntie crying."

"Mr ... Pops ..."

"Shut up!." The touch, made me and Cheery to the point of surprise.

"Bas.!" Upset me, I hugged the frightened Cheery. The little boy hid his face in my chest."Keep your voice, Mas."

Tian was silent as he closed his eyes tightly. He held the steering wheel firmly. I don't know what makes that guy scary now. Is it because of her encounter with Dance that made Tian to yell at Cheery.

On the way home, no one spoke. I just kept quiet while hugging Cheery who had fallen asleep in the arms, even with Tian who did not say much. The man seemed to regret that he had dared to make Cheery cry out in such fear.

After reaching the basement of the apartment building, Tian immediately went out and opened the door for me.

"Let me take Cheery."

"No need, Mas. I'm the one who carried him." ketusku.

"Cheery's heavy, Nay."

"I'm strong enough to get Cheery inside."

I just came out holding Cheery, leaving Tian still there with a look of regret.

"Buruan, Mas.!"

"I hope you don't forget to apologize to Cheery if he wakes up."

Tian who was originally sitting while leaning his head on the back of the sofa then looked at me. "Hem .. I'll do."

"I don't like you snapping Cheery like that, Mas.."

"Yes, I was wrong."

Hearing and seeing Tian was not as cruel as before made me feel relieved.

"I'm home. Please, take care of Cheery."

"Mrs ..." The man pulled my hand. Hold me back so I can stay there. Tian stood up, he approached and without warning immediately pulled my body in his arms.

"M - Mas."

"Attent." Sluggishly. "Just for a second, let me be like this."

Then, I felt Tian slump his face at the cross of the neck. The man hugged me very tightly, no matter my discomfort though. However, the discomfort turned into an unusual taste as a drop of clear water dripped down the clothes I was wearing right now.

"What makes you cry, Mom?"
