Sebastian Aydan, by,
Five years went by, and for five years I never thought I'd see Nayara Syila - my ex-wife.
I saw the clock around my wrist, it was five o'clock in the afternoon and I was still in the office. I decided to go home soon, then go back to the apartment to change clothes, after which I will come to see Revan and my other friends at my best friend's nightclub.
But before I got home, I called my mom. Asking him to look after Cheery, leave him tonight because I'm afraid to go home too late.
Eight o'clock at night, and I just got there. As soon as I entered the room with minimal lighting, I immediately met Revan and the others. It turns out, they were all gathering there. Waiting for me.
"Buehh ... Finally come along." Sapa Irwan, one of my former college friends.
"Lo, it's getting dashing, Tian."
"Yes dong .. today's widower." Ledek Revan while giggling amusedly.
I just smiled as I shook my head, not responding to all of their babbling. I prefer to take a cigarette and then start it with fire. We talked to each other for a long time until I heard someone on stage calling the DJ's name. At first I didn't care, but it was so noisy out there. I was a little curious when the person came back to say the name of someone who felt familiar to the ears. I think I've heard that name. But where?
"DJ ... Ara!"
Again I heard the voice of the man shouting his name. I shook my head slowly, then took the drink on the table, then downed it to the toilet. I haven't had a drink like this in a long time. Before I got married, I used to come to clubs like this just to drink and have fun with Dance. But after marriage I never set foot in a place like this again.
I poured the intoxicating liquid back into the glass before I chugged it again. Then I turned my head when Irwan and Dery never stopped clucking in awe at the person who was playing his music on that stage.
"Crazy ... tuh cute chick.!"
"Anjir, sexy. Bro."
"Name, Ara. She's a famous DJ, besides she's also the prettiest DJ right now." Revan sitting next to me introduced the girl who works as a DJ to both of them. I just kept quiet, but secretly I listened.
"Truly-very sexy chick." I see Dery doesn't stop praising him. "Lo, you know the same girl I dong?"
Revan smiled, then took the glass filled with intoxicating liquid from the table. "Try it if you can."
"Lo get me?" The guy's clucking.
"He's one of those DJs who's hard to get close to." It was clearly Revan who made the two men instantly laugh. I just watched the two in silence, I saw them throw one another a slanted smile.
"We'll see, I'll pay him ten times over."
"Don't be rude, he's my cousin. I don't want to get in trouble because of you two, Tayi."
I shook my head, hearing their debate certainly made me want to lean my head on the back of the sofa. I closed my eyes tightly, hearing that name so many times called making my heart slightly rustle warmly.
Wh why?
Why is it that every time the name Ara is heard in my ear, I feel something that I do not know myself, I do not understand my own feelings that suddenly become unsettled like this.
I opened my eyes, still in the same position. Staring at the ceiling of the VIP room inside this club with a long sigh.
"No interest." Reply origin.
"It's Ara, Tian. Oh.!" sewot Irwan's.
"Let's see him now. You must like girls." Timpal Dery's.
I straightened up, immediately sitting stiffly as my eyes caught the silhouette of someone I had been looking for all this time.
"Nayara?" I cringed confused.
The three guys threw gazes at each other when they saw me standing up.
"Why, lo?"
I rubbed my face rough. "City ... " My voice choked when there were some people coming into the room.
I was shocked, and I couldn't believe that the girl standing in front of me right now was the girl I hadn't seen in five years. I didn't see it wrong, did I? I don't know why I'm so sure that the girl who's looking at me right now is Nayara, my ex-wife.
Even though I saw her a little differently, even though I didn't recognize her, I made sure she was Nayara. And Nayara who is now standing before me at this moment is not the Nayara she once was.
The girl .. I looked at her from top to bottom. Paying attention to his appearance now which I think is very different. Especially with the minimal clothes he uses now. Really, I made it gape in disbelief.
We stared at each other for a long time, until I realized that Naya had already thrown away her sight. I quickly regained my senses, and was a little surprised when Naya passed through my body just like that. The girl didn't look at me at all. Even when Revan introduced her to me, Naya was cold. There was not a single smile from her lips. He introduced himself as Ara. Naya acted as if we had never known each other before.
As it turned out, Nayara completely kept her words that would regard me as someone else if one day the two of us met again.
And that, he proves it now.
I know and I deserve it. I also accept that Nayara hates me now. Because I used to hurt her feelings too often and make her cry. I always ignored him and never considered his presence at all in my life.
Yeah, I admit it.

Being in a room like this certainly makes me feel a little awkward, but not with Nayara. I saw that girl was not at all bothered by my presence. I saw him occasionally laughing along with Revan, Dery and Irwan. But he didn't look at me one bit. Every time Revan asked me to speak, Naya only caught a glimpse, after which she again threw away her gaze.
I'm really like a stranger in his eyes right now.
I admit, there's been a lot of change that's happened to Nayara after five years of not meeting. I also just found out that it turns out that for five years he worked as a DJ.
Nayara works in a nightlife place like this, by showing her skills in playing music and also her body which is only wrapped in clothes lacking materials like this.
